There seems to be an inherent problem with an OEM model of washing machine that are sold under the Whirlpool, Amana, & Maytag brand names. It has a small F3E1 Pressure Sensor Problem, that puts the Washing Machine in the “Endless Drain Cycle”, even when the tub is empty, and when there is nothing in the washing tub. The pressure sensor for the wash tub thinks that there is a full tub and continues to run the pump even when empty. The eventual FAIL is that your drain pump will burn out if you dont shut off the power. —- WHAT IS THE FIX ? - The part is a Panasonic ADP51B62M02 pressure sensor, this needs to be replaced to fix the issue. Waiting for a new (Control Board) part can take 3-4 months and a bill of $300+ . A new part from “Ben’s Appliances & Junk” …… A Whole Lot Cheaper. The pictures that follow is the step by step fix of the sensor replacment. Final Outcome - perfectly working washing machine again. //// - Tools = Yihua-Desoldering Station, Weller-Soldering Station, RadioShack-low temp melt solder, TOMLOV-LCD Microscope, Vaxxen-Isopropyl Alcohol 99%, MG Chemicals-Flux (All these items / tools) - Oh and one technician that can research, order, fix and test the product.
