π¨ WARNING: THIS ALMOST COST ME MY WHATSAPP ACCOUNT π¨
I signed up for a platform called Sarra Pro because it looked professional and legitimate.
Within minutes, I received a WhatsApp message containing a verification code.
At first, it seemed harmless.
Then something felt off.
Shortly after receiving the code, I started getting unexpected phone calls. π
Instead of ignoring the warning signs, I uploaded everything into ScamGuard for analysis.
The results shocked me.
β οΈ High-risk warning detected
β οΈ Verification code request flagged
β οΈ Potential phishing indicators identified
β οΈ Social engineering tactics detected
β οΈ Recommendation: Do NOT engage
If I had shared that code with the wrong person, they could potentially have gained access to accounts linked to that verification process.
That one decision to check first may have saved me from a major headache.
π‘οΈ This is exactly why I built ScamGuard.
