SCAM ALERT: Fake Clear Creek Request Reports by Email

We have received several reports of members getting "phishing" emails with links to "Refresh My Protection". They may appear to come from Clear Creek Communications. Please ignore these requests and contact Technical Support to report any more information or for any questions.
It may look something like the screenshot in this post.
"Phishing" refers to emails that are fishing for sensitive information by phone or email, often illegitimately posing as a recognizable person or organization and requesting you click on a link or download an attachment. Clear Creek will not contact you by email requesting sensitive information and will always request you call in and verify your account information.

Some additional common red flags that often expose messages like this as scams include:

- The sender wants you to click on a link or button to update your personal or payment information. Never click on links in messages from people or organizations you don't know or weren't expecting to receive.
- Grammar, spelling, or general syntax is often incorrect or hastily put together.
- The scamming sender's email address is often odd or vague
- The sender tries to convey a sense of urgency to get you to take an action, like click on a button
Thank you for your cooperation and vigilance against scams like these.

Do you have a complicated trip planner? Try plotting multiple locations in Google Maps.

1. Open the Google Maps app on your iOS or Android device.
2. Set your starting point by using your current location or by entering a different address.
3. Enter your first destination in the "Choose destination" search field.
4. To add additional stops, tap the three-dot menu icon in the upper-right corner, then select "Add stop."

📍 Adding multiple stops can help you plan errands, road trips, or any route with several destinations.

Taking care of your digital life is just as important as taking care of your physical well-being. Internet Self-Care Day is a reminder to pause, review your online habits, and make sure your devices and accounts are working for you, not against you.
Consider updating your passwords, enabling two-factor authentication, clearing out unused apps, backing up important files, or simply taking a break from screens for a while.

A few small steps today can help create a safer, healthier online experience tomorrow.

A ZIP file is a compressed folder that combines one or more files into a single package, making them easier to store, share, and download. ZIP files help save storage space, keep files organized, and speed up file transfers. To access the contents, you'll need to "unzip" or extract the file. Think of it as a digital folder that keeps everything together in one convenient place.
