🚨CORRECTION FOR THE APRIL 9TH EDITION🚨

The homeschool art exhibit is held at the Alton Public Library, not the Orange City Public Library, as it was incorrectly listed on page 12 of the paper.

The caption should read as follows:
“Young artists proudly display their work during an art show at the Alton Public Library, on exhibit through April 18. The collection features pieces created by a group of homeschool students who participated in an eight-week program led by art teacher Amy Sharar. Students in kindergarten through third grade explored clay, printmaking, paper batik, and color mixing, while older students in grades four through eight focused on techniques such as one- and two-point perspective, gelli printing, and bracelet weaving. The program, which met weekly, gave students hands-on experience with a variety of artistic styles and mediums.”

We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused.
