Sharing a memory: this used to be a big, yellow leering sun a friend purchased at a home decor shop. She asked my late husband to create this medallion to match a dining set she had repainted silver and blue. My husband and I working on this together. It was a fun project, a collage of repurposed items. Once installed, with a fabulous sleek chandelier beneath, it masked several holes in the wood ceiling. That was an added bonus.

Recently hand painted for a friend's pool deck, the sign also features small colored glass embellishments. It's been water proofed for the outdoors.

A project completed for my mother. I believe the statue was purchased by my parents at Chip's Monuments in Orange City, FL. My father painted it metalic gold and my mother decided she wanted it in color. I chose the colors on her dining area rug where the statue will stand in a corner. The colors aren't as shiny as they appear in the photo. I had to use the flash to get the pictures.

As the others, either colored ball point ink OR black gel pen. Taken with my camera, some doodles aren't clear because I have a TON of doodles, as you can see, and I just ran through them very quickly...click, click, click! And done. Lighting was bad. It's total crap but I didn't care.

Doodles done in small sketch books - these are camera shots so some aren't that great. Just want to show FB friends what I do at meetings and when I'm on the phone, too, at times. I figit at meetings. I have a hard time sitting still so doodling is a good remedy. Keeps me calm. I use one of those big ball point pens with a lot of colors...remember those from middle school? They're still around! Check Office Depot. I also use a plain black gel pen.

Doodles, not drawings, done in very small sketch books which I carry in my purse to meetings so I can doodle and listen. The colored doodles are done with colored ball point ink and the others are black gel pen. These are 2 separate doodle books.
