Workshop just landed at No. 1 on the 2026 Inc. 5000 for fastest-growing companies in Nebraska. (Plus, No. 25 in software nationally and No. 272 overall!)

Five years ago, Workshop was a small team in Omaha betting that internal comms deserved better tools. Today we’re 140 people strong, helping 800+ organizations, from Fortune 500 companies to national non-profits, actually reach their employees.

This was also the year we launched AI-generated emails powered by Cici, Workshop’s AI agent built for internal comms (describe what you need and get a complete, on-brand email back), shipped Journeys, and watched our employee podcast, TalkShop, win a Ragan award.

None of it happens without good people who care about making Mondays better. 💙

You’re invited! 🎉

This Saturday, Aug 8th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., we’re opening our doors as part of Open Omaha: a city-wide open house exploring unique spaces in the metro area that are normally closed to the public.

As part of the Millwork Commons neighborhood, we’d love to show you what it’s like to work at a growing startup in North Downtown. Stop by for a tour of the office, hear a bit about the building’s history, and get a feel for life at Workshop. We’ll have coloring pages for the kiddos and a few Workshoppers around to answer questions about what we do.

Workshop Week — a quarterly moment to all be together, align on the quarter ahead, and for July, learn from our customers.

The week looked like lunch in the park under the trees one day, and lunch conversations with customers the next. Company updates from voices across the org and lessons straight from the people who use Workshop every day. Plus time with teammates we don’t always get to see day-to-day.

With 32 new Workshoppers since April, there were a lot of headshots to snap and a lot of new faces to learn — this week was as much about connection as it was about listening and learning from our customers.

We ended the week with Late Night at the Zoo. Omaha’s summer evenings did not disappoint. Until the next one. 🌞🌇✌️

Happy Monday! We had a great week last week celebrating National Hot Dog Day at Millwork Commons! Workshoppers were pretty pumped to head down to the Glizzy Gala hosted my Millwork, where loaded hotdogs were served!! In honor of Workshop Week kicking off tomorrow, we’re keeping the glizzy energy going with a game of Imposter... and you already know the word was hot dog. 🌭

Ever wondered what an internal product launch looks like?

When our Product team ships something big, we make sure everyone feels it. Our weekly All Hands meeting becomes a full takeover: one meeting, one focus, one launch worth celebrating together.

It’s the moment for Product to pull back the curtain, showing all the departments exactly what’s coming and why it matters. Because when our teams are aligned, the customer experience gets better across the board.

This recent launch had a fun detail worth bringing to life: inside our editor, you can see other users typing in real time, each with their own colored icon (think Google Docs, but make it Workshop). So we leaned in – balloons, pennants, every icon color represented, and internal sayings that each team has. 

It turned a weekly All Hands into an important moment to celebrate and align on a big launch. A reminder of what we’re building, and who we’re building it with. 🧁✨✌️

Meet Adonis 👋 Most Workshoppers know him as “The Don.”

Adonis is a Solutions Engineer on the CS team, though he didn’t start there. He began in Sales, and when he found his passion on the technical side, he leveled up and moved to CS after a successful run learning the ropes. He’s all about keeping things human: slowing down to listen, collaborate, and bring a little personality into the day.

What’s lighting him up lately is seeing the real impact his team has on customers – watching someone come in with a question and leave with clarity (and send kind feedback on their way out) is what makes the work feel meaningful.

☕️ His happiest Monday? An early win, a strong coffee, and a team lunch before diving into the week. Plus a perfectly timed emoji in Slack.

Meet Cici, our Workshop office dog. She didn’t apply for the job, but she sure got it.

The origin story: we found her wandering the street on our way into the office one morning. Naturally, we did what any reasonable person would do, picked her up and brought her to work.

What happened next was one of our best team moments. The whole office mobilized to take care of her and find her owner. After weeks of searching - posting on all the pet finders, visits to the vet, and asking around, no owner was found.

Now she’s got a forever home and comes in every Tuesday - the even team plans around it.

Her credentials are impressive: morale boosting, snack-in-work-bag detection (industry-leading accuracy), crashing meetings she was absolutely not invited to, and the kind of sustained eye contact that gets you outside for a walk break whether you wanted one or not.

We can’t imagine the office without her. 🐾
