It has been our honor to work alongside Frio County, TX, and Sheriff Michael Morse for many years. Our hearts are heavy with sadness as we extend our deepest sympathies to his family, friends, and the entire Frio County community. Sheriff Morse served with unwavering dedication, honor, and respect, and the loss of such a remarkable leader and person is deeply felt.

We are truly grateful for his service and for the privilege of serving him and Frio County, TX.

May he rest in peace.

It is with great sadness that we announce to you today that our mentor and leader Sheriff Michael Morse has passed away. Sheriff Morse spent over 35 years protecting and serving as a law man in the state of Texas. He gave every ounce of himself to any person in need and cared passionately about managing and conserving Texas' natural and cultural resources as a Texas Game Warden before becoming our Sheriff of Frio County. While our Sheriff he was able to rehabilitate the Frio County Jail which had been shuttered for many years and foster a department culture that truly embodied the agencies core mission mantra of providing “Service with Respect” for ALL. He stands tall as a great law officer, father, husband, brother and leader. May he rest in peace. We will continue the watch always sir.

Encartele provides a service to allow friends and family members to communicate with inmates in jails across the nation. Encartele provides innovative solutions for easier ways of communication between inmates and jail staff. THE POSITION:

We are seeking an individual with strong communication, customer skills, and a hard worker for a full-time position. Our ideal team member is someone who is reliable and eager to learn about a new exciting program. The position will consist of working with a team of up to 5 individuals to complete tasks in a fast-paced, team atmosphere. At Encartele, our support technicians are responsible for communicating with both facilities and customers to solve problems.

Job responsibilities to include but not be limited to:

Answering customer and facility tickets
Building equipment and staging hardware as needed for upcoming installations
Traveling onsite to a correctional facility for service repairs and installation with a team of support technicians.
Managing and monitoring over a hundred different IP endpoints
Configuring network equipment and building small scale networks
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and their personal IT personnel.

DESIRED SKILLSET AND DETAILS:

Communication skills (Phone & Email)
No prior experience or college degrees required!
Preference given to individuals with cabling experience and IT experience
Desire to master networking
Basic networking knowledge of TCP/UDP ports, SNMP, IPv4, public vs. private IPs, layer 2 and layer 3 networks
Basic knowledge of firewalls and information security
Casual work environment.
Flexible scheduling
Dogs work in our office, so those whom are allergic to dogs please be aware.

THE LOCATION:

Encartele is located near the corner of 108th and Giles in Papillion, Nebraska. Just minutes away from the interstate this location makes for an easy commute for anyone living in Omaha or the surrounding areas.

we are so sorry for the loss!

We are saddened to announce the passing of active Deputy Ed Smith. Dep. Smith unexpectedly passed away today from suspected health complications. Dep. Smith served with the Sarpy County Sheriff's Office for over 25 years and his latest assignment was as a beloved School Resource Officer at Gretna Public Schools. Dep. Smith was also a longtime Deputy on the Road Patrol and was an original, long-time member of the "Honey Badger" B-Shift. Prior to joining SCSO, Dep. Smith was a Trooper with the Nebraska State Patrol and a proud Marine. Dep. Smith was known for having a cheery disposition, being a fantastic story teller, and one who was always willing to help anyone in need, both on and off-duty. We are heartbroken at this loss both for our agency and his family and friends. Please keep all those hurting in your thoughts and prayers. #851
