Gehm & Sons is a 5th generation family business that has been operating in Akron for over 120 years. Today they produce over 25,000 pounds of dry ice every 8 hours and distribute across Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and West Virginia.

🇵🇷 Fernando Ramírez se une al equipo de Cool Running como representante de ventas para América Latina. Ventas, implementación y soporte, ahora en español. ¡Salúdalo o déjale un Bienvenido en los comentarios!

Fernando was raised in the ice business at Tropical City Industries in Ponce, Puerto Rico, a plant his family has run since he was a kid. He became a Cool Running customer in 2025, saw what the platform did for his own operation, and joined the team to bring it to ice companies across the region, most recently helping welcome Hielo Glacial Nicaragua aboard.

Sales, onboarding, and support are now available in Spanish. We are excited to bring Cool Running to more Latin American ice companies.

Hielo Glacial has been manufacturing and distributing purified ice across Nicaragua since 2008, meeting international quality standards. They also produce purified bottled water, making them one of the most established ice and water operations in the country.
