I did it again...
I MADE ANOTHER SHIRT DESIGN! Yes. It was really unavoidable.

Sometimes it's nice to take a step back from all the noise... and make jelly. Yesterday, I picked some dandelions and made dandelion jelly!
Some tips that I learned:
Measuring IS important...🤔
You DON'T need to pour half of the yellow dye... 🫣
You need a break from life? Get out there and pick some flowers. 🌼🌸🌺
Besides making some jelly, I made this nifty shirt to go with it!

Would this cover catch your eye on the shelf?

I had some fun creating a concept book cover for a fictional dark fantasy novel, this one was a blast to design. Designed in Adobe and Canva.

This style of cover is all about mood, symbolism, and genre storytelling. Dark tones, strong focal imagery, and typography that feels like it could belong in the fantasy section of a bookstore.
Even though this title isn’t real, the design approach is. This is the same process I use when working with authors:

• understanding your genre and audience
• building a visual identity around your story
• creating a cover that looks professional at full size and thumbnail
• making sure your book feels market-ready

I wanted to share a fantasy book cover concept I recently designed as a portfolio piece.

This is not a published book and the author credit is fictional, it was created purely to explore visual storytelling, typography, and genre cues (dark fantasy / romantasy vibes).

I had the pleasure of working with Cake & Crust Artisan Bakery again, and I’m so excited to share their Valentine’s Day menu 💕

We focused on creating something that felt romantic, cozy, and just a little indulgent, while still letting their handcrafted treats take center stage. From sweetie boxes to sourdough flights, this menu was such a fun one to design.

Quick helpful tip for any small business owners here!

If your logo or website looks a little different depending on which device you’re viewing it on (phone vs laptop vs tablet), here are a few easy fixes:

✨ 1. Use PNG files for logos
They stay crisp and clean, especially on mobile.

✨ 2. Make sure your website builder uses responsive containers
Wix, Squarespace, and Shopify all let you create sections that automatically resize for small screens.

✨ 3. Keep text to 2–3 fonts max
This keeps your brand consistent and readable across devices.

✨ 4. Test your website at 100%, 75%, 50% screen width
If anything overlaps or disappears, it’s a quick sign that the layout needs a small adjustment.
