Install of the Week!

This week, our team installed a Nedap SmartSight system that uses advanced Vision AI to monitor each cow’s movement multiple times per day—helping identify lameness before it becomes visible!

The installation included a SmartSight camera and RFID antennas positioned along the exit lane. As cows leave the parlor, their RFID ear tags are scanned while the SmartSight camera analyzes their movement. The system then delivers real-time alerts, helping dairymen identify potential mobility issues sooner and make informed management decisions.

Install of the Week!

This week’s project involved upgrading an old non-working sort gate to a modern AfiSort system to improve reliability and herd sorting accuracy.

Our team installed a new Afi control box and photo eye sensors, along with a repositioned antenna for proper right rear leg tag detection. The gate was added into software and tested by running cows through to confirm full functionality.

We also rebuilt the gate cylinders with new seals and installed a new air regulator and solenoid valves to restore smooth, dependable operation.

Another system back online and running efficiently! 💪🐄🛠️
