“Our world was brighter because she was in it.” When there is a grief or sadness in someone’s life, it’s hard to find the right words. And oftentimes (me personally) I am better at expressing my feelings through a drawing. I created these sympathy cards because I REALLY want my loved ones to know we are there for them, when grief or hard times arise. Thank you for being here!

One of Lily’s closest friends has been battling a chronic illness and has needed to spend many many days at Children’s Mercy hospital. She even had to spend her 17th birthday there. She has started an organization, called Birthday Brightness, where she will give birthday cards to kiddos in the hospital on their birthday. I had the honor to helping her design the cards.
