**🚨 When Oklahoma's Emergency Alerts Went Silent**

In November 2025, dozens of Oklahoma communities lost their emergency alert system for two weeks—right during tornado season.

The INC Ransom cyberattack on CodeRED didn't just disable warnings. It exposed the personal data of tens of thousands of Oklahoma residents and revealed a critical vulnerability: relying on a single vendor created a single point of failure.

This was Oklahoma's third major cyberattack in 2025:

- June: Durant lost 800GB of municipal data
- July: HeartLine healthcare breach
- November: CodeRED went dark

**The good news?** Communities like Edmond responded quickly with secure alternatives like AlertED.

**Watch our latest video** to understand what happened, why it matters, and what Oklahoma leaders and residents need to do now to strengthen our emergency systems before the next storm hits.

**Is your organization prepared?** EMSCO Solutions helps Oklahoma municipalities and businesses build resilient cybersecurity defenses before disaster strikes.

Can’t I just add my child’s name to my bank account? 🧐

We hear this often—it might sound simple, but there’s a catch! Adding their name could expose your funds to their financial troubles, including creditors or legal claims.

A better solution? Set up a trust and name them as a trustee. It protects your assets while keeping things simple for your family.
