We’re so proud to celebrate the Threatt family and the newest Route 66 Centennial Monument at the historic Threatt Filling Station. 📍

This landmark was the first African American-owned filling station on Route 66 and served as a safe haven for Black travelers during the Jim Crow era.

VOX is honored to be the creator and manufacturer of the Route 66 Centennial Monument Project, and we join the Threatt family in celebrating their new monument and sharing their important story.
