Diverse CTI has been named to the 2026 CRN Fast Growth 150, coming in at #94 out of 150!

For a company that’s been around since 1984, we’re pretty proud to say we’re still growing, still evolving, and definitely not slowing down.

Growth like this doesn’t happen because of us alone.
It happens because our clients trust us with their businesses. Because our team shows up every day ready to solve problems, take care of people, and deliver the kind of service we believe IT should come with.

More businesses trusting Diverse CTI means more people to support, more problems to solve, and more opportunities to prove that you don't have to be the biggest IT company to make a big impact.

#94 in North America. Right here in Oklahoma.

We’re getting ready for the Fall ACCO Conference… and apparently Grayson is too. 😂

This picture was taken at the Summer ACCO Conference, when Grayson briefly considered leaving IT for a career in heavy equipment.

Don't worry. We talked him out of it.

Now we're getting ready to see all of our county friends again at Fall ACCO!

We always have a great time at these conferences — catching up with familiar faces, meeting new ones, and apparently exploring alternative career paths.
See you at Fall ACCO!

And Grayson… stay off the equipment this time. 😂

Cyber Tip of the Week:
If you get an email from a vendor, customer, employee or even your boss — asking you to change banking or payment information, don’t trust the email alone.

Even if the email address looks legitimate.

Compromised business email accounts are often used to send very convincing payment requests. Before changing banking information or sending money, pick up the phone and verify the request using a phone number you already know.

One phone call could save your business from a very expensive mistake.

October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month! 🔐

All month long, we’ll be sharing cybersecurity tips to help businesses better protect their people, data, money and systems.

Some might be things you're already doing.

Others maybe not..

Either way, cybersecurity is something every business should be thinking about, not just the IT department.

Follow along this month. We’ve got some good ones coming!

If one of our tips makes you think, “Ummm... I'm not sure we're doing that,” give us a call. That's what we're here for.

Yep. That's me.
Well...AI's version of me. 😂

But this is a pretty accurate representation of what was going through my head when a man claiming to be from the Sheriff's Office told me I had TWO federal warrants.

“AM I ACTUALLY GOING TO JAIL?!”

And that's exactly what the scammers wanted.

They didn't need me to be stupid.
They needed me to be scared enough to stop thinking clearly.
Fear. Urgency. Authority. Isolation.

Those aren't just ingredients for a good scam.

They're social engineering.

Eventually my cybersecurity brain kicked back in and I did the one thing the caller REALLY didn't want me to do:
I stopped reacting and started verifying.

P.S. No federal fugitives were created in the making of this photo. 😂

Your IT person’s job looks a LOT different than it did even a few years ago.

It’s no longer just keeping computers running and changing your password.

Cybersecurity. Compliance. Cloud. Backups. Vendors. Cyber insurance. AI. Planning what’s next.

It all falls under “IT.”

And for a lot of internal IT teams, the job has simply gotten bigger than the resources available to do it.

That doesn’t mean you need to replace your IT team.

Sometimes, you just need to give them a team behind them.

That’s where co-managed IT comes in.

Same goals. More support.

Having a great IT person doesn’t mean one person can do it all. 💻

IT isn’t one skill anymore. It’s dozens.

Your IT person may be great at keeping employees productive and technology running day to day — but cybersecurity, cloud management, compliance, networking, backups, and disaster recovery all require different areas of expertise.

That’s not a knock on your IT person.

It’s just how much IT has changed.

So maybe the question isn’t:

“Do we have an IT person?”

Maybe it’s:

“Do we have all of IT covered?”

We’ve spent YEARS teaching employees:

Don’t trust suspicious emails.
Don’t click weird links.
Check the sender.
Watch for spelling mistakes.

Now we need to add another one:
Don’t automatically trust a familiar voice.

AI can help criminals impersonate people your employees already know and trust.
Your CEO.
Your CFO.
A coworker.
A vendor.

Cybersecurity training has to evolve right along with the technology criminals are using.

The question isn’t:
“Does this sound like them?”

It’s:
“Did I verify that it IS them?”

ASK YOUR IT COMPANY THIS:

“If we were hit with ransomware tomorrow, what would YOU do?”

Not what should happen.

Not what the cybersecurity software is supposed to do.

What is the actual plan?

Who gets called?
How do you determine what was affected?
How do you restore operations?
How do you know your backups are safe?
What happens if customer or employee information was involved?

You don't want everyone figuring out the answers while your business is down.

A good incident response plan is boring.

Until the day you need it.

We're not here to judge.

Okay… maybe a little. 😂

How many browser tabs do you currently have open?

A. 1–5: Suspiciously organized.

B. 6–15: Totally reasonable.

C. 16–30: Things are getting interesting.

D. 31+: You have absolutely NO idea what's open anymore.

BONUS CONFESSION:

How many of those tabs have been open so long that you're afraid to close them?

Drop your answer below.

Your IT department already knows the truth.
