🪡🧵 For the first time I didn’t make anything new for a zine fest, but I did give these babies a face lift! Previously only the nature zines were bound but now you get a bind 🫵🏽 you get a bind 🫵🏽 you get a bind 🫵🏽. Every zine is a unique color combo 👀 && the pop of color from the thread really made me fall in love with these again 🩷❤️🧡💛💚🩵🩵💜

🥾 New and improved cover! AND I added a QR code that takes you to a curated list of podcast episodes about the benefits of the great outdoors.

I will still be saddle stitching these by hand for that extra 🤌🏽.

📣📍 Pick one up at Art Book Fair next Saturday and Sunday (March 15/16). 12-5pm! This event is FREE and open to the public. If you want to reserve yours ahead of time, DM me! (Limited run on these based on paper stock)

💕 I saw wearing army pants and flip flops, so I bought army pants and flip flops...

☕️ No but did yall see her latest video using ’s New Generate Video option?? I'm SHOOK!! I used it on a recent packaging project and the results are...interesting 🤔

🌀 Notice how the logo warps in both videos...and the coffee is being poured through some magical lid portal?! Obviously it's still in beta mode but this is a total gamechanger.

🤖 I'm AI neutral Like anything, there are pros and cons. In this case, Adobe Firefly could be a pro for me - a graphic designer who is NOT an animator and is consistently asked to make things jump and bounce.

Chat, what do we think?? You using this new feature?? NOTE you only get TWO FREE ANIMATIONS and then you have to subscribe to yet another app 🤑 Lord when will it end 😭

Designing for the job I want, which might actually be editorial/publication design??

Zine fests aren't exactly resume material, but it's my favorite creative outlet outside of work. I'm proud of the work i've made and community i've gained in the past year through the Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston zine fests. So far, I've created 4 zines that mean a lot to me. One is about the real human woman experience (🐱), alcoholism, POC in the outdoors, and chicano culture in San Antonio.

For the first time in a looooong time i'm making work without parameters. It's kind of ironic how us small business owners might be the "boss" but rarely have full creative freedom in our work. Zines do that for me. The best part is when people read through a zine and their faces light up. Connection, yall. More of it please.
