She ain’t finished yet but she’s getting there!

Not that we didn’t already adore, respect and appreciate the heck out of our local vendors, this projects rushed 3 week timeline just really shed light on the importance of relationships in the design industry. Interior design is so much more than creating beautiful spaces and we couldn’t have pulled this off without those well maintained and respected relationships.

Grateful for the community and network that surrounds me in my profession! Also, extra grateful to have worked so closely with on this project. It has been such an enjoyable collaboration and I can’t wait to share the final product!

I really don’t have words for how much this guy means to me. The lessons you’ve taught me, the roles you’ve played and the relentless support you have always given is invaluable.

Here’s to 80 more years of Texas Roadhouse family dinners, trail rides and fishing trips for you!

Hump day, how you doin!?

I feel like my captions always seem like I’m fighting for the weekend. Don’t get me wrong, I genuinely love with my job and am 110% living my creative dream but at the end of the day it’s still work, yanno?

The whole “do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life” is actually quite the opposite in my opinion. Doing what you love means choosing passion and I promise you that little fire will push you to work harder than you knew possible. The reward is invaluable but don’t forget the importance of boundaries.

I feel like I’ve followed both “live to work” and “work to live” mindsets and personally I’m a better human when I work to live.

Just some light self reflection this morning… I go where the ADHD squirrels take me lol

Does anyone else struggle with this balance or find themselves leaning one way or the other!?
