For anyone out there with an iPhone 6/6 Plus, be on the watch for "Touch Disease". I am not sure if this is something that you can get covered or not, but I would recommend taking it in to your cell phone provider and see if you can get it replaced if this happens to you.

If you have a Kindle made before 2012, then you will want to visit this link and get information about a critical update that must be installed to continue to keep your internet access on the device. This update must be installed by March 22nd, or you will have to do it manually!

We have recently heard and received many calls about Microsoft, Dell, HP, etc. calling or emailing people telling them they are infected. They want to get access to your computer and then show you the "infection", so that you will install their software. THIS IS A SCAM!

Do not ever give someone access to your computer, or give them your password, or anything else like that over the phone. If you have done this recently, then you need to change your computer password, and run security software to remove any malicious software that might have been added to your computer.

Well I knew that one day this would happen, but I have now seen my first Mac malware infection. I know that they aren't completely immune, but I haven't seen any on any customer computers before today.

The crazy thing about it, is that it behaves very much the same as Windows infections. The biggest difference I had on this computer, is that I had to manually remove the infection, whereas everyone has antivirus programs and other tools available on their Windows computer that would have removed it much more efficiently.

I truly hope this isn't the start of more and more infections coming to Macs! If you have a Mac, don't be too overconfident that you won't get infected. And if you do, then let us know, because we can get the infection removed for you!

Windows 10 will be available as a free upgrade for all Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 8.1 PCs, laptops, and tablets on July 29th. The upgrade will be available for free for those devices for 1 year.

Windows 10 looks like a very good release and has many new enhancements that will make it great for a long time.
