This is our 3rd opportunity to do the sweatshirts for Oconto County Culligan. Another 24 sweatshirt done for them, and I look forward to doing more down the road. Now to catch up on design work for a gun part and for a removable square for a yard stick, then print some more of the tiny inlay diamonds for gun stocks.

Ok, to any one that follows this page and prints multicolor, I am willing to buy PLA and PETG scraps, failed prints, purge poops, purge blocks, or supports. You need to make aure there is only PLA with PLA and PETG with PETG. They must be separated. Currently I will pay $1/lb for these scraps. This price might change in the future, but first I need more scraps to continue working out the details of my endeavor.

Seems like I need to fill in small increments and leave a little less time between fills. This was 20 minutes of heating and filled about half the mold at a time. It isn't good. Wrecked the medium skull mold and still lots of air bubbles on the top of the head, along with mold stuck to the jaw line

Well that turned out way better than i expected! I love it! Learned a few things about doing these, and hopefully should have less air bubbles but even with the air bubbles its just more uniqueness. I have this size, about 1 inch, then I have a mold for one about 2 inches and one about 3-4 inches. I also have a cross mold so far. Always on the lookout fpr more high temp flexible molds. I will be selling these scrap melts as well, but this first one will not be for sale.

This is a story about smart me arguing with dumb me lol.

I'm working on getting set up to be able to melt my scraps into molds of different things.

Smart me said "you should research more before doing any experiments."

Dumb me said "eh just buy the cheapest blender to try chopping up the pieces, you've seen that done with a blender before."

Dumb me purchased a $20 main stays Walmart junk blender. See where this is going yet?

Dumb me grabs all my scraps and the wally world blender, plugs in the blender and loads in a little filament scraps.

Dumb me starts using the pulse button to see how it goes. So far so good its not chopping it up real well but its getting there.

Dumb me says "maybe we just have to put some more in to help things a bit."

Dumb me puts more in and pulses it and hits the blend button a couple times, everything seems ok and working.

Dumb me puts more in.

Finally smart me wakes up from his nap.

Smart me says "hey maybe we should put some safety glasses on just incase this blender decides to blow apart and send plastic flying.

Smart me puts safety glasses on.

More button presses, and BANG! The side blows open and starts shooting plastic shards everywhere!

Thank you smart me for at least keeping my eyes safe, and honestly thank you to my wife for always putting up with my shenanigans and always being there to help clean up the disasters that I create while experimenting!

Back to the research for me now! Might have to look into building my own filament grinder instead of using a blender.

So this turned out way better than i expected. When I found custom sun shades on amaxon for only $19.99, I figured ill risk $20 on some advertisement, but not $100 or more like most other sellers, not when I dont know what its gonna look like. I'm pretty impressed with how it turned out and how it looks, especially for only $20 and I can now protect my cars interior even more than just the tint thats already on my car.

So we had some legal disclosures to get posted in rental unit we manage, and that gave us a reason to buy a laminator, which we've been contemplating for a while anyway. So two 3D printed disclosure signs and one paper printed and laminated disclosure sign.
