I genuinely stopped what I was doing just to make this video.

I was about to ship an order when I noticed something that made absolutely no sense...

A package weighing 2 lbs 1 oz was nearly $3 cheaper to ship than the same package weighing 1 lb 12 oz.

So naturally...

I started adding weight. 😂

If you sell on eBay, Facebook Marketplace, or ship products regularly, this is one of those weird USPS pricing quirks that could actually save you money.

I had one of those "there's no way that's right" moments today.

While shipping an order, I realized USPS was charging me LESS after I made my package HEAVIER.

I honestly thought I was reading the screen wrong.

Turns out crossing a certain weight threshold actually lowered the shipping cost by almost $3.

Sometimes the best business lessons come from the strangest places.
