It's mid season. Now guess what breaks.

A keeper's registration won't transfer. A parent's payment bounced and nobody knows why. Two teams got scheduled on the same field. And you've got a tournament Saturday.

This is the part of the season nobody puts in the sales demo and it's the part that actually decides whether a platform is worth what you pay for it.

Because mid-season, features stop being the point. Response time becomes the point.

You don't need a chatbot that loops you back to a help article. You don't need a ticket number and a "someone will be with you in 3-5 business days." You need a person who knows youth sports to pick up and fix it before Saturday.

That's the whole promise:

- Real humans: not a bot, not a queue, not a form
- Real answers, no runarounds: one conversation, actually resolved
- Support that shows up when you need it most: mid-season, mid-tournament, mid-panic

Software is easy to switch. Trust isn't. So we'd rather earn it on your worst week than your easiest one.

Because your season can't wait for a ticket queue.

Already with us? Reach out anytime because that's what we're here for.
Not yet a TE client? See what support that actually shows up feels like at teamselevated.com

Club admins: what's the most chaotic mid-season fire you've had to put out? We've probably helped fix it.

The best thing you can do on the sideline is trust the coaches and the refs.

Youth sports parents, this one's for you.

You drive the miles. You wash the uniforms. You're there in the rain, in the cold, and at 7am on a Saturday. That commitment matters more than you know.

Here's the thing we hear from coaches over and over: the kids who grow the most aren't the ones with the loudest parents, they're the ones who feel free to try, to fail, and to figure it out.

So a few gentle reminders for this season:

1) Cheer, don't coach. "Let's go!" builds confidence. "Pass it! Shoot! Get back!" builds hesitation. One voice on the field is enough.

2) Clap for both teams. Great plays deserve recognition, no matter the jersey.

3) Let the refs ref. Many of them are teenagers learning the game too. Your silence teaches your kid more than your protest ever will.

4) Protect the car ride home. Ask "did you have fun?" before "what happened out there?" Give it 24 hours before any performance talk. That drive is what they'll remember 20 years from now.

5) Take questions to the coach the right way. Not on the sideline, not in front of the players. Safety, schedules, and your child's wellbeing are always fair game โ€” playing time and tactics belong to the coach.

Your job on the sideline is simple and it's bigger than any coaching you can do from teh sideline: be their biggest fan, not their second coach.

They already know you're watching. Make sure what they see is joy in their efforts not just the score.

Do you agree? Would you do sideline parenting differently?

Soccer practice rained out again?

We've got you! Check out these three skills that can be done inside the home (parent approval pending)!

Skill 1: Cone Dribbles
Set up cones or anything you have that can sit on the ground and be 2 feet a part and in a row. Get your soccer ball and go in between the cones. Change the skill by adding these variations (Inside foot only, Outside foot only, Fast, Slow)

Skill 2: Ball Juggling
Start small. Put the ball on your toes and do a small flick upward. Catch the ball. Continue to drop the ball on your foot and kick it back up to a catch with your hands. Once you can do one kick and catch, do two kicks with the foot, then catch It. See how many you can do In a row!

Skill 3: Ball Control
Start by tapping the ball from one foot to the other. Inside foot to inside foot. Once you have that, let the ball go past the other foot, kick with the outside of your foot outwards then roll It back with the sole of your foot, use the inside of your foot to tap it towards your other foot. Repeat. Back and forth.

Meet the Team: Maggie Mae, Chief Technology Officer

Behind every great team is someone building the thing that holds it all together.

Maggie has spent 18+ years building product and technology teams in the SaaS world. Ask her what she's proudest of and she won't name a launch, she'll describe how she works. Maggie gets close to the people she's building for: embedding with customers and frontline teams, listening for what actually gets in their way, and learning what athletes, families, and organizations genuinely need. Then she builds for that.

At Teams Elevated, that means she built the CRM at the heart of our platform, with a little help along the way, and she owns the back end that keeps it running: the databases, the integrations, the parts nobody sees and everything depends on. It's why the platform is shaped around making participation easier rather than around what looks impressive in a demo.

Her "why" started in a high school gym. Maggie cheered, and she loved it, but she also learned how expensive being on that squad could be. Not just in what it cost, but in what it feels like to be a kid who knows she's one more expense for a family already stretched thin, and to carry the quiet embarrassment that comes with it.

That's the experience behind her work here. Wanting in, and finding the cost in the way. Roland and Michelle Weedon started Teams Elevated to eliminate the barriers that keep kids out of sport and Maggie is building the technology that does it, so that talent and desire are never priced out.

Outside of work, she's an avid gardener and a devoted dog lover. On any given video call, there's a good chance you'll hear her pug snoring in the background.

We're lucky to have Maggie.

Fun first. Growth always.

Rec coaching is one of the most generous things a parent can do usually with no license, no budget, and a job that started because nobody else raised their hand. If that's you: thank you.

We put together some helpful tips for new coaches or those who might be in a rut. Swipe through the photos to see six ways to change your coaching to help improve the experience for both the kids and you as the coach.

Here's why it matters: 70% of kids quit organized sports by age 13, and 45% of them say it stopped being fun. (American Academy of Pediatrics)

Coaches have more say in that than anyone.

Fun first. Growth always.

Save this and send it to a coach who'd use it.

Fall registration is almost in the books. How'd your tech hold up?

If you're a club admin or director, you know the drill: registration season always exposes the cracks. Clunky sign-up forms. Payments that don't reconcile. Rosters that won't sync. Parents emailing you at 11pm because something broke.

So here's our question: what gaps did you notice this season?

Whatever slowed you down, we can fix that. From registration to rostering to payments, Teams Elevated builds the tech that takes the headaches off your plate so you can get back to the game.

Drop your biggest registration headache in the comments, or DM us. Let's close the gap before spring season.

The research is clear: getting your kid on the field pays off for life!

๐Ÿƒ Active for life: Kids who play sports are 8x more likely to still be physically active at age 24. (Perkins, 2004)

๐Ÿง  Stronger mental health: In a study of 11,000+ kids, those in team sports had 10% lower anxiety/depression scores and 17% fewer social problems than kids who didn't play. (PLOS ONE, 2022)

๐Ÿ“š Better in the classroom: Student-athletes earn higher grades and are more likely to attend and graduate college leading to 73% of female athletes expecting to finish a 4-year degree vs. 67% of non-athletes. (Women's Sports Foundation, 2018)

๐Ÿ’ช Confidence that lasts decades: 94% of women in the C-suite played sports growing up. (EY/espnW, 2014)

But here's what matters most!
These benefits show up when the environment is positive and low-pressure. When it becomes all about winning, kids burn out. 70% quit organized sports by age 13, and 45% of those who quit say it stopped being fun. (American Academy of Pediatrics)

That's exactly the environment we build at Teams Elevated. Fun first. Growth always.
