Today’s progress on the Damascus steel skinner! This blade is made from the 564 layer crisscross raindrop pattern Damascus steel, with pure nickel shims and a high carbon steel core. Also pictured is the stainless steel Scout that is just about ready for hand sanding!

All finished with this sexy wrought iron San mai blade with orange/black rubber micarta handle scales! I also got the Damascus billet up to 564 layers! Time to wash up and watch the Indy 500!

Lots of cool projects on the workbench today! 28 layer billet of Damascus steel and processed a large wrought iron anchor chain down to a 1/4” thick billet! Stay tuned for what’s next! I might even do a live stream next weekend!
