Everlaw

Everlaw Chart a straighter path to the truth. We do this by designing with the user in mind.

At Everlaw, we bring the superior software experiences you’re used to in your consumer life—the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it speed of Google and the blissful usability of Apple products—to your litigation toolkit. We take existing technologies, like search, and challenge ourselves: “Is this the best experience it can be?” We’ve already created the most intuitive ediscovery review platform, but we’re n

ot stopping there. We continue to look at uncharted areas of litigation and build the tools to tackle them. We are an accomplished team dedicated to developing cutting-edge technologies that improve the practice of law. To foster creativity and ingenuity, we’ve built a diverse crew with top talent from the fields of law, computer science, business, physics, math, and even sports. As passionate as we are about technology, we’re even more passionate about delivering great service. You can call us any time to talk about file formats, features, or reports, and we’ll be as hands-on as you want us to be; we'll aid in production protocol negotiations, data conversions, or reviewer audits. We understand that attorneys live in a world of pressing deadlines, unknown variables, and last minute depositions. We want to save you time and money by delivering the most user-friendly and powerful tools possible.

The pressure to do more in less time is real, but so is the opportunity to work more intelligently. As courts, litigators, and legal professionals continue to define what responsible AI use looks like, one thing has become clear: trust in AI comes from process.

The most effective legal teams won’t be the ones that use AI the fastest. They’ll be the ones that use it with the strongest guardrails. By combining purpose-built tools with rigorous verification habits, legal professionals can move quickly without losing sight of accuracy, confidentiality, or strategic control.

Our CTO Max Christoff recently spoke with Informa TechTarget's AI Business News on tokkenmaxxing and Everlaw's pragmatic approach to AI use inside the engineering team.

To control costs, users are considering a broader range of AI model options. Max said he can tie AI spending to clear returns on investment but is also looking at lower-cost models to reduce token expenses.

The cost savings might be "anywhere from 5x to 10x cheaper for a given coding task" compared with the current state of the art from Anthropic and OpenAI, he said.

Culling is essential in ediscovery because modern litigation is defined by skyrocketing data volumes. If a litigation team attempts to send raw, unrefined data directly to linear document review, the financial and operational costs can quickly derail the entire case strategy.

Culling ensures that organizations do not spend disproportionate resources hosting and reviewing non-essential files, keeping teams firmly compliant with federal mandates.

Implementing a defensible, automated data reduction strategy offers several distinct advantages for litigation teams - click below to read more!
