Good Morning!
Please accept our apologies for the disruption in the services we provide, and we appreciate your patience as we await restoration of our services so we can resume normal operations.
Due to a massive storm we lost internet at about 4pm Friday, July 28, 2023 and do not yet have an estimated time for restoration of services. At current our ability to live stream and provide normal services has been delayed due to this issue. As soon as we are able to resume normal operations, we will be catching up on those services (like building websites, updating pages, moderating pages, streaming, providing Keen services, etc).
While we do have the ability to tether for cellular data, we are rationing that for critical failures. If your site crashes completely, or you are experiencing issues that prevent you from working at all, and need technical support, we can use cellular data to make that happen.
Typically severe weather related outages, such as yesterdays massive storm, are resolved in 24-48 hours in our area, but in instances of extreme equipment damages or excessive line destruction events, we have experienced outages lasting several days (hence why we are conserving data to ensure we are able to offer continuous critical failure support in case this is a longer duration event).
If we cross the 24 hour mark at 4pm today, July 29, 2023, we will switch to cellular tether long enough to run general Keen maintenance, and will continue to do so each 24-hour period (at 4pm). Again, this is to conserve cellular data and to try to give support workers sufficient time to make repairs and hopefully be back up long before that becomes necessary.
We do not mean to cause alarm or concern, and it is very possible we will be back up to normal operations much sooner than we are budgeting for.
Please feel free to reach out and we look forward to getting back to our regularly scheduled programming soon!
Thanks,
Joseph Arrington and Aeson Knight
