85% of callers who can't reach a business on the first attempt won't call back. They move on to a competitor.

For companies still relying on voicemail, basic auto-attendants, or legacy IVR menus, that's not a UX problem. It's a structural revenue problem sitting inside the phone system.

RingCentral's AI Receptionist (AIR) takes a different approach. Learn more about how it works, what it connects to, and what early adopters are reporting: https://hubs.li/Q04k7Mwy0

Small bets win big in AI adoption.

Financial institutions don't need a sweeping transformation to prove AI's value. The instinct to wait until there's an enterprise-wide plan in place is exactly what turns a manageable initiative into an overwhelming one. High-volume, low-complexity use cases exist in every organization, and they're ready to be solved now.

Karan Kashyap, Co-Founder & CEO of Posh AI, describes what a real first move actually looks like. Not a platform overhaul. A single, well-scoped problem with high volume and natural customer acceptance. Win there, and the path forward gets a lot clearer.

Most organizations are sitting on years of unmanaged, duplicated, and poorly classified data, and the business consequences are bigger than most realize.

ROT data (Redundant, Obsolete, and Trivial) inflates cloud costs, widens cybersecurity attack surfaces, complicates disaster recovery, and undermines AI deployments. Getting data governance right has become a genuine competitive advantage.

Michael Smith, Director of OEM & Technology Alliances at Congruity360, breaks down what that looks like in practice: https://hubs.li/Q04jMFm10

The window between breach and damage is shrinking.

AI has given attackers a force multiplier that most organizations aren't accounting for. The time it takes a threat actor to move from initial access to action on their objective, what security teams call "action on objectives," is being compressed at a pace that traditional detection timelines simply weren't built for.

Brian Zimmer, Field CISO at CyberMaxx, cuts to what that means for defenders: the primary job is buying time. Every control, every layer of detection exists to slow the attacker down long enough to see the threat, evaluate it, and evict it before it reaches its goal.

Ungoverned AI scales risk just as fast as it scales productivity.

Speed without structure creates real exposure. When employees are using different tools in different ways without shared standards, the risk compounds fast across regulatory, financial, and reputational dimensions. Governance isn't a blocker to AI adoption. It's what makes adoption sustainable.

Carl Katz, VP of Global Technology Partners at Kore.ai, puts it plainly: knowing what AI is in use, how it's being used, and where human judgment stays in the loop is how organizations scale AI without scaling risk. Especially when AI output is driving decisions with significant financial or legal weight, the human in the loop isn't optional.

Shadow AI is already happening inside most enterprises.

It does not look like traditional shadow IT. Nobody is spinning up rogue servers. They are just trying to work faster. In the process, organizations are exposing source code, contracts, financial models, and strategic plans to systems they do not control. The question is whether your organization can identify the exposure before it becomes a legal issue, a security incident, or an IP problem that cannot be undone.

In our latest article, we break down why IP leakage may be the larger long-term risk, why policy alone is not enough, and what effective AI governance actually looks like. Read now:https://hubs.li/Q04jc6dS0

Most financial institutions are approaching AI backwards, starting with the technology instead of the use case. That gap is becoming a competitive risk.

In the latest episode of The Amplitude of Tech, Shawn Cordner sits down with Karan Kashyap, CEO of Posh AI, to discuss what eight years of deploying conversational AI across banks and credit unions actually teaches you. Karan shares his framework for deciding what to build vs. what to buy, how to design AI that builds customer trust through transparency, and why the riskiest thing a CIO can do right now is nothing.

Your AI governance strategy should have been built yesterday.

That's not hyperbole. AI governance sits alongside data governance, identity governance, and corporate governance as a foundational responsibility for any CIO or CISO. The organizations that treat it as a future priority are already behind the ones that don't.

Brian Zimmer, Field CISO at CyberMaxx, breaks it down into two immediate priorities: how AI identities are governed within your existing identity governance framework, and how your data governance strategy accounts for the fact that data is what AI runs on. Neither can wait for a broader strategy to materialize.
