In 1983, Dragon’s Lair revolutionized arcade gaming with its Don Bluth animation. Because the game was so captivating—but brutally difficult—crowds would form to watch others play. To let everyone see the action, arcades placed TVs or “spectator screens” on top of the cabinet. The game was the first to cost $0.50 a play and utilizes a laserdisc for gameplay which was cutting edge technology at the time. We’ve added an old school TV on top of our cabinet to replicate that 1983 feel. Come play some games soon!
