A lot of design trends are here for a good time, not a long time.
Even the fun ones 💔

And Rubber Hose WAS a fun one.
Unfortunately, it’s already been found dead 🪦

And unfortunately, some brands have made it their entire identity, even now.

Trends are tempting.
But will you still love that anthropomorphic logo when it’s no longer young and beautiful? 💋

If you’re dead-set on trying out a trend, we can make it work.
Limited edition merch turns outdated designs into collector’s items.
And a branded client gift doesn’t need a permanent spot on your website.

But an entire identity built around Gen-Z’s favorite microtrend? You should just start the countdown now.

When we say timeless while working on your brand identity, we’re not just being pretentious 🦴

It's the little things 😌

Like marketing that adopts an overly-attached-best-friend voice while claiming to be a high-end brand.
No one likes desperate! Especially when they’re just trying to browse for a luxury candle.

The little sh*t adds up.
And eventually, it's not One Big Problem that drives clients away.
It's thirteen slightly annoying ones 💀

If we’re being harsh it's just because we love you 🖤
So let's chat about what’s really working for your brand.
(and what’s not) 🦴

A little beef never hurt anyone 💋

We’ve seen it happen.
You start looking at the businesses who already figured out their audience,
Have the aesthetically curated IG feed,
Sell out of their understated-but-identifiable merch…

And you stop looking for your own inspiration and you start copying theirs.

But if you’re a quaint small-town coffee shop imitating the L.A. influencer-filled ones?
You look like a stranger to your own clientele.

So when you ask us for designs that makes zero sense for your intended audience,
Respectfully, we want to fight you
(...with your best interest at heart) 🖤

We’re not afraid of some homework. We will find that thing that works for you.
We just aren't going to copy someone else’s 🦴

Social media changed marketing forever.

The aesthetics of your instagram, the content in your reels, the Tik Tok trends you chase (or don’t) are all part of your branding.
We’ll put it as simply as possible: your social media is important 👀

And we could charge you thousands of dollars for social media marketing…

Just to use AI 💀
We’re talkin’ about generating content ideas, sending out slop graphics, pasting captions that were barely proofread straight from some prompt.
It would make everything so much quicker! 😅

But we don’t.
Because if we wanted less work, we shouldn’t have started a whole f*cking branding agency 🖤

Instead, we talk to you. We meet you and your brand.
Then we have a team of people (real people!) who work to turn your page visitors into followers, into commenters, into customers.

Your audience can sense your authenticity.
That’s why we don’t fake ours 🦴

If your logo changes personalities across every platform, you’re not building a versatile brand.

You’re building an identity crisis.

Brand guides can be the difference between a business that knows how to pair colors together and a business that builds a cult following.

We’re not trying to put your branding in creative jail — a good brand guide should make ex*****on easier, not more restrictive

Maybe usage rules and visual hierarchy sound a little boring to you.
Fair enough.

But when it’s 1am and you’re halfway through designing something with one eye closed and a weird half-dream distracting you, you’ll be VERY glad your branding still feels intentional.

It's less “limits on what you can do” and more like a cheat code for recognizability. A brand guide without usage rules is basically just arts and crafts supplies. You deserve more than a DIY job.

And remember:
just because everyone has access to the right graphics files doesn’t mean they’re using them correctly…

You see that perfect logo on a brand’s homepage? The effortless color palette? The match-made-in-heaven font pairings?

Yeah. There were at least twenty deeply questionable versions before that.
Logos that leaned uncanny valley.
Colors that made our eyes hurt to look at together.
Fonts on the brink of a crash-out divorce.

So yeah, we’ve made things that get rejected.
By us.
By the client.
By the designer who just stared at their computer screen for six-hours straight.

But somewhere between the fourth rejected logo and choosing between serif fonts that are starting to look identical, your brand is born.

Because your identity doesn’t come from the first logo draft. It comes from back-and-forth — from knowing what you like and learning what you really DON’T like.

So we’ll take the rejection. We know the right stuff is hiding behind a dozen rounds of NO.

💀Imagine hiring a branding agency that looks exactly like every other branding agency…

Would you seriously trust them to make YOUR brand stand out?
…Probably not.

So when clients tell us we piqued their interest BECAUSE we’re not a typical, vanilla marketing company, we have to resist the urge to tell them our secret:
It's on purpose 🔥

We like to practice what we preach.
🦴And how can we create branding for bold businesses without being one ourselves?

Maybe we’re too much for some people.
We dropped one-too-many f-bombs for them.
Had too many opinions.
We’re too unconventional.

That’s fine! You have the right to pick the agency that works for you.
And we’ll pick clients who work for us.
Everybody’s happy 😉

The goal isn't to be everyone's favorite. It's to be someone's first choice.

We thought we escaped the whole “customer is always right” trap by starting our own agency 😅

One where we make decisions. Tell people no. Speak our mind.

It's honestly annoying that our clients are so creative, unique, and fun.

Because now a lot of times the client is always right…

AND we agree with them 🔥

But we really do love when clients bring their ideas to the table.

You know your business better than anyone. All the little details, the history, the moments that make it unique.

Christy Dukehart liked our original design for Dukehart Softball Academy.
But when she suggested a backwards K — the symbol for a strikeout in softball — somewhere in the logo, we just had to be honest.

…And admit that we never would have thought of that without her 🦴

We can build you a logo suite that will knock it out of the park.
Pick color combos that encapsulate your vibe perfectly.
Find typography that speaks to your brand.

But you’re the one telling the story.
You have the details — we’re listening ⚡

Ready for everyone else to start listening, too?
Let's tell it together. Check out the link in our bio to get started 🦴

An aesthetic landing page is nice.
One that shows people what the hell you actually do is better.

The rule of hierarchy is composition of elements by order of importance. Your website, especially, needs it so desperately.

We can give you both.

We’re not trying to sh*t-talk anyone, but most people browsing online are suuuuuuuuuuper ADHD, haha.

If you’re hiding important info below the fold, they’re not going to scroll. Too much finger cardio, we guess.

Anything that could convert a scroller into a shopper, a browser into a booker, a casual skimmer into a super fan, better be where people can actually SEE it.

Convincing even the weakest thumbs to scroll just a feeeew more inches down the page is a challenge.

But if you get your fonts, your scale, your slightly-quirky-but-still-navigable vibe just right, people might just like what they see.

And want to see more.

Past the fold is where some of the conversion stuff is ;)

You don’t need to become a UX expert.
That’s literally why agencies exist.
