Meet the Team Behind Zick Painting Inc!
Hey Metro Area! I'm Mason Zick, and this is my amazing wife, Ashley as well as my Co-Owner Lukas Wagner. Together — with an awesome, hardworking crew — we own and operate Zick Painting Inc., right here in the Minneapolis metro area!

You’ve probably seen us around: in our vans, on job sites, or at local events. But I wanted to take a moment to personally introduce ourselves.

I (Mason Zick) was born and raised Northfield, MN, driven by curiosity, creativity, and a serious work ethic. From painting houses to staining decks, I’ve always loved seeing the before and after transformations of different projects.

At 17, I started to paint for my varsity basketball coach as a summer job. I met incredible people and learned that painting is something I really love and enjoy doing. Zick Painting Inc. takes pride in our honesty, dependability, and great communication. Lukas and I's very first job together was an exterior home in Northfield. I still remember telling Lukas, “I think we are for real now!” Not because of money or fancy painting tools — but because someone believed and trusted in us.

I (Lukas Wagner) was born and raised in Chippewa Falls, WI, driven by a big work ethic and home owners satisfaction.

At 13 years old, I started in the trades working for a home builder. Working in the trades at a young age helped me experience a work style that I really loved. At 19 years, I started to paint for a couple different companies around the metro area. I was taught by a very skilled and experienced foreman who took a chance on a me. Knowing what I retained from those years of painting, I now have joined my cousin (Mason Zick) to bring my personal skills and learning mindset to Zick Painting Inc.

Today, Zick Painting Inc. is a skilled local team taking on tough jobs with creativity, integrity, and hometown pride. Although we started with exterior of homes, we have proudly expanded our services to:
-Interior Painting
-Exterior Painting
-Deck Staining
-Cabinet Refinishing
-Pressure Washing
-Exterior House Cleaning

Thank you for supporting us — it truly means the world. If you’ve got a project in mind, we’d love to help bring it to life.
From now until the end of October (10/31/26) we are offering $200 off your first project with us when you mention this post!
