From unbiased advice, vetted audio parts and accessories, to DIY recipes and resources, everything I do is about enhancing your connection to the music. I apply the same standards to products we sell on this site, selecting only ones that have ‘made the grade’ in the systems of my beta-testers or in my personal rig. I believe high-end audio deserves high-end service and absolute integrity, and I go out of my way to make sure you are happy. Just ask around, or check out my feedback on Audiogon or Audio Asylum. Nice email from another happy V-Cap ODAM capacitor customer this morning!

"Some feedback on the ODAMs after I installed them in my PS Audio BHK250 over the weekend...in a word AWESOME!

I could not believe how they transformed the BHK;
- deeper, more defined and harder hitting bass,
- clarity across the whole bandwidth but especially the midrange and treble, where there was previously some 'grittiness' it's now gone!
- the soundstage is now deeper, wider and more defined,
- above all it almost sounds as though I could touch the singers in my room.

Hopefully there is still a bit more improvement to be had as the ODAMs settle into their new home!

I've attached a couple of photos of the ODAMs 'piggybacking' the original REL-CAPs for reference. The only question I have now is how much better would it sound if I used the CuTFs…

Spend as much time prowling audio websites as I do, and a pattern becomes clear. They're full of glamour shots of shiny products, promises of performance never before experienced, and cherry-picked pullquotes from reviews. The website of Japanese audio concern Elekit is a different kind of experienc...

Just got this email in from a happy VH Audio / V-Cap customer, after installing VH Audio wire and V-Caps into his Dr Z Guitar Amplifier: "Thank you for making such great stuff! I have a much upgraded Dr Z kt45 that I put one of your 022's in the first cap position last night, unbelievable how that amp sounds now compared to before. Your wire, all vintage carbon comp resistors, vintage wire wound for the heaters, all nos tubes of course, and tone cap in the first signal position - sounds incredible.. probably the best sounding one of these in existence. Lar-mar master volume and tone stack lift installed by me
Chris"

Three essays on what bench measurement, A/B comparison, and long-term listening each can (and cannot) tell us about audio.
