Steph Curry just ended his sneaker free agency by signing a 10 year deal with Chinese brand Li-Ning.

After 12 years with Under Armour he chose a brand founded by an Olympic gold medalist with 7,000 stores across Asia and the infrastructure to take Curry Brand global.

He called it bigger than a shoe deal. Li-Ning called it a landmark victory for Chinese sportswear competing with Nike and Adidas.

The Debug program uses sterile male mosquitoes to eliminate disease spreading populations without chemicals or genetic modification. A previous trial in Fresno achieved a 95.5% reduction in female mosquitoes at peak season.

Mosquitoes are the deadliest animal on earth. Google is applying AI, robots and data to fix that.

Not to look new. To remember what it always was.

A 2023 survey showed most people recognised Lacoste but did not know it was French. Its positioning had blurred between sport and fashion. The brand had drifted from its own story.

The new identity brings back the original crocodile, the original green, and René Lacoste’s own handwriting.

When your audience loses the thread of your story the answer is never to invent a new one. It is to tell the original one better.

With Courage Montreal, the airline compared 2026 World Cup match ticket prices with round-trip flights to the countries fans support.

One ad reportedly compared a $3,870 Portugal match ticket with a $799 flight to Portugal.

That is why the idea works.

It does not feel like a brand forcing itself into the World Cup conversation.

It feels like something a fan would say after seeing the ticket prices.

Air Transat did not sell the stadium.

It sold the streets, cafés and football culture outside it.

The brand lesson is simple: the best campaigns do not always start with a product. Sometimes they start with the complaint everyone is already making.
