Flipping thru the archives.
Found this recently and it brought back a pretty special memory. A while back, I was honored to receive the Key to the City of St. Charles, Illinois by the mayor at city hall for designing the logo celebrating the city's 175th anniversary. As a designer, you hope your work makes an impact—but having something you created become part of a community's history is something I'll always be proud of.

Concept work.
Our take on the new signature logo for Dallas Maverick’s star Cooper Flagg. Our concept shares the exact same brief as the official mark: merge a CF monogram with a distinct visual nod to Flagg’s Maine roots using a pine tree silhouette. My core goal was to push for a sleeker, more athletic, and less clunky aesthetic—focusing on fluid movement, sharp geometry, and balanced weight that feels fast and performance-driven.

Simple by design.
The best marks don’t need color to make an impact. Strip it down to the essentials, and a strong idea should still stand on its own. A collection of one-color marks built on simplicity, clarity, and a little restraint.

Great Scott! This signed copy of A Match Made in Space came to me while working with Beacon Academy. It was personally signed by Bob Gale, writer and producer of Back to the Future. Just one of those unexpected little perks and memorable connections that have come along during 20+ years of doing design.

Concept work.
Inspired by the cornfields of Indiana’s landscape—the sunrise and the pride that runs deep throughout the state. The idea was to create a mark that belonged to the Fever fans. Something they could wear, wave and rally around.

Six years. Six marks. We’ve had the honor of creating the event logos for the Chris Patterson Memorial Foundation’s Red Tie Gala. Each year brings a new design, but the mission stays the same—honoring Chris’s memory while raising funds for scholarships that support local high school students pursuing the performing arts.
