If you notice your TV picture becoming pixelated, fuzzy, or freezing briefly during the day, it could be a solar outage. Twice a year, around October and March, the sun aligns with TV satellites and can temporarily disrupt signals. These interruptions typically last about 10 minutes a day and occur over the course of about a week.

☀️ The good news: Solar outages are temporary and your service should return to normal once the sun moves out of alignment.

If a channel disruption lasts longer than 10 minutes, give our technical support team a call at (405) 217-6868.

A quick reminder for OEC Fiber TV subscribers: OEC Fiber TV service will be discontinued on June 30, 2027. You have time to find a new TV solution, but we encourage you to start exploring your options before the deadline. We’ll continue sharing information to help make the transition as easy as possible.

The way we use the internet has changed a lot since OEC Fiber began planning its network nearly a decade ago. Homes have more connected devices, streaming is routine and reliable internet plays an even bigger role in everyday life.

In this month’s From the Top, CEO Patrick Grace explains why we're reinvesting in the technology behind OEC Fiber's network and what that investment means for members and subscribers as needs continue to change.

As a small business owner, Cody believes in the importance of small businesses working together and supporting one another.

That’s one of the things he appreciates about OEC Fiber. Even as OEC Fiber has grown, he says it still feels like a local business that will take care of you.

We’re grateful to have local businesses like LFTD Nutrition as part of the OEC Fiber community and to hear what being connected locally means to them.

For Cody, that’s been his experience with OEC Fiber.

In nearly a year as an OEC Fiber subscriber, Cody says he hasn’t had any issues with his service, and that reliability is a big part of why he recommends making the switch.

When your business depends on your internet every day, having a connection you can count on makes a difference.

Stay tuned for the final part of Cody’s story.

From processing transactions at the counter to having customers stop in and work remotely, reliable internet plays a role throughout the day at LFTD.

Cody even works out of the shop himself, so having a connection he can count on helps him keep up with everything it takes to run the business.

For a small business, staying connected means staying ready to serve your customers.

We’ve had the BEST time being part of Friday Night Lights this season! 🏈

Three games across three local communities gave us some pretty special nights under the lights with nearly 6,000 football fans, families, and community members.

With free admission and a $5 concession voucher for every fan, we wanted to help make it easy for families and friends to come out, enjoy a Friday night together, and cheer on their hometown teams. 🎟️🍿

A huge thank you to Adtran, Inc. for helping make these nights possible, and to the schools and communities who welcomed us out!

We loved seeing the stands filled, the hometown pride on full display, and so many people come together to enjoy Friday night football.

Three games, three communities, 6,000+ people, and a whole lot of memories.

Thanks for letting us be part of it!
