Last week, DS2 was selected to present five new advanced software solutions to the Air Force at the Expedient Basing Showcase in Las Vegas. Our solutions provide enhanced AI/ML workflows in support of Agile Combat Employment activities, including airfield damage repair and installation recovery after attack workflows, which will lead to a more capable, durable, and resilient basing during combat operations. New features developed include biometric monitoring of repair crews which optimizes human performance scheduling; AI/ML agents injected into Airfield Damage simulation, and VR/XR modeling of airfield objects viewed through goggles and fed through planning software. We look forward to integrating these new capabilities into the tools used by our Air Force battlefield airmen in the near future. &

DS2 would like to express our gratitude to our valued customers and business partners for contributing to the remarkable growth we experienced in 2023. Throughout the year, we continued to support our longstanding USAF customers in Mission Planning and Civil Engineering software. Additionally, we expanded our horizons into innovative areas such as mechatronics/electric vehicle controls, hardware refresh projects, and various Tactical Assault Kit initiatives.

As we bid farewell to 2023, DS2 proudly unveiled a refreshed brand identity, featuring a new logo and color scheme. We anticipate the launch of our updated website in early 2024. We are also pleased to announce the upcoming construction of a new building adjacent to our existing office, symbolizing our commitment to continued growth and innovation.

DS2 is excited to welcome Sean Howren to our team. Sean graduated from the University of Southern California and Viterbi School of Engineering with a degree in CSCI (Computer Science Computer Information). We're thrilled to have him on board as part of our Mission Planning team, where he'll be developing software that makes a real difference in the lives of our dedicated warfighters.

But there's more to Sean than just his tech prowess! In his free time, he is dedicated to coaching youth sports. With a daughter who’s passionate about sports, this keeps their family active year-round. Sean is also a comic book aficionado and enjoys diving into the world of retro video games, whether it's on a console or in a vintage arcade cabinet.

His hometown is Tuscaloosa, Alabama. ROLL TIDE! 🐘

Another win for Team DS2!

DS2 Awarded Rapid Airfield Damage Repair Upgrade and Hardware Integration Contract

Rapid Airfield Damage Repair (ADR) software provides the US Air Force with critical analysis of combat damage to airfields/runways during wartime. DS2 has developed ADR solutions for the last 11 years and is proud to be given a new 6-month contract award to provide software and hardware testing and integration to the fleet of RADAS equipment worldwide.

The goal of the upgrade is to ensure that the RADAS capability remains relevant to meet evolving operational and technical requirements.



DS2 will be responsible for integrating both hardware and software components and executing flight and simulator tests for each RADAS kit delivered. This effort involves ensuring that all the different parts of the system work seamlessly together, from the underlying hardware to the software applications that run on it.



DS2 appreciates the trust our Air Force customer has placed in our team to execute this high-impact, short-timeline upgrade to the RADAS capability.
