Autism moms. We celebrate milestones a little louder. ❤️

I was at school pickup today for Jamison and another autism mom was waiting for her son. When he came out with his aide, she asked, “Any words today?” and the aide said, “yes, 3!”

Our faces lit up. I gave her a little wink. A couple of words. The little miracles we get to witness every day.

I still remember Jamison’s first word. I was in the kitchen making lunch, and he was in the living room with his therapist. She was counting, “1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7…”

And out of nowhere I heard his tiny voice for the first time. I had waited almost four years to hear it.

“Eight!”

I nearly dropped the pan and ran into the living room. “Did he say 8?!” We all cried. I was so, so grateful.

This journey has changed the way I see everything. It’s taught me to celebrate the smallest things, because they’re never actually small. ❤️

I keep thinking about a conversation today with someone who was frustrated that the people in her life just don’t understand what she’s trying to build. The long hours, the risk, the grind.

It made me think of a quote I heard recently about doing the things most people aren’t willing to do if you want a life most people don’t have.

So I told her, “You’re doing what 99% of people won’t do, making risks they wouldn’t take… how many people do you think are actually going to understand you?”

Entrepreneurship is a different breed. Most people won’t get it, you’re not building for them.

Lately Jamison’s been asking me to sit with him while he eats his breakfast. Usually I’m running around like a mad woman making his lunch, packing his backpack, answering voxer between all of it.

This morning he looked at me and said,
“Mom, let’s sit down and talk about our day.” 🥹❤️

My sweet boy teaches me more about life than anything ever could.

This year turned my life completely upside down, in the best and hardest ways.

I transformed my health, doubled my business, walked through a divorce, and rebuilt my life from the ground up. At some point, I decided I wasn’t willing to keep living the way I had been, in my body, in my relationships, or in my life.

Getting here wasn’t pretty. I lost friends, fought battles no one saw, and cried more times than I could count. But I kept choosing forward for me, and for Jamison. And I’m deeply grateful for the people who stood beside me when things felt shaky.

Now we’re in our perfect little house, ours. ❤️ A fresh beginning. A peaceful place. A hard-won home.

We made it my sweet boy, and I’m so proud.

Lately, a few skeptics have been loud.
The “wedding shows don’t work” crowd.
The “that strategy can’t possibly work” folks.
And yeah… the occasional person who just doesn’t like me or how I serve my community.

Years ago, I would’ve let that get under my skin. Now I know it’s part of the game.

So I bless, release, and I put my focus exactly where it belongs, on our community.

Because while some people are arguing in comment sections or in my inbox… WSB students are out here booking 26, 27, 40, 45 consultations in a single weekend. First shows. Limited prep time. Saturated markets. High-ticket services.

These are real wedding pros, real shows, real calendars filling up. And yes, real bank accounts growing.

You don’t have to believe in this strategy. You’re welcome to do your own thing, whatever serves your business best... but the results speak for themselves.

People tend to tell me their dreams.

“I want to have horses someday.”
“I want to buy a Jeep and go off-roading someday.”
“I want to start a business someday.”

Those are all things people have shared with me just this year.

I always laugh and say, don’t tell me a dream unless you’re ready for me to take it seriously. I’ll have your vision board made in three days flat.

Recently, someone told me they’d love to restore an old victorian house someday. And instead of brushing past it, I got curious.

I asked what he was doing right now to move toward that dream.

Are you flipping houses? No.
Do you have experience with renovations? No.
Do you take on projects at home just to learn? No.

And listen, this isn’t about judgment. It’s just, I know dreaming is easy.

We’re really good at “someday.” We’re great at holding a vision in our head and loving the idea of it.

But the dreams that actually come to life usually start with tiny, unglamorous steps. The kind that don’t look impressive yet. Reading the book. Asking the question. Trying the thing. Saying, what if I started now?

And as we head into a new year, with 2026 right around the corner, this is your gentle nudge to stop saving your dreams for “someday.”

Because someday isn’t a date on the calendar. Go after it 🔥
