This painting was inspired by this adorable baby deer that mamma left in our yard while she was off getting food. I crept up quietly not to disturb and snap a couple photos. Mom came back a little while later. Beautiful things are all around us. We just need to pause and look.

Finished this cutie this morning. On my way back from running errands this morning I had the pleasure of seeing three baby red foxes playing and chasing each other. They were so darn cute. Wish we had baby foxes this year. We were lucky to have them the past two years. More mini painting to come. Will be available soon on my website.

A couple weeks ago we said goodby to our sweet Lily. Back in January she was diagnosed with a cancerous growth on her face. Even with the cancer she stayed herself until it took over her a couple days ago. She was our blue eye baby. She loved everyone she met, and especially loved her peanut butter until the very end. The husky in her loved playing in the snow and the sprinkler. All the snow this winter was perfect for us to enjoy being with her for her last winter with us. We are going to miss her so much. We love you Lily!

Since late winter, early spring, we have had this opossum visiting our front walkway at night. Our ring camera catches him every couple days just walking around. Maybe looking for food or a friend? It was a bit on the smaller side in the beginning and has slowly grown more over the past few months. I love seeing all the creatures that visit us at night. They are my new inspiration for my artwork. Check on the video of the opossum on the next slide.

Meet Scout! I painted this cutie in memorial for my BIL and SIL. Sadly they lost Scout last month to bladder cancer. Scout was a gentle giant. Our senior dog Lily had the biggest crush on him. He will be greatly missed in our family.
