As many of you know, America is in a state of crisis. I am a proud disabled, immigrant, gay veteran. I served my country and, in certain circumstances, I would do it again - in a heartbeat.
With that being said, I took a hiatus from my outward buisness to focus on being able to provide my customers with the best variety, knowledge and expertise that caters to you. Now, I believe that it is time to expand what I hoped to start in 2021. My health severely declined in 2021, my body feeling the worst of all the damage over the years. However, I used that time to hone in my knowledge and grow, not only as a technician but as a human being.
America is only great because of our diversity. All of the people from all walks of life should be able to build a life, start a business, start a family, go to school to better themselves, and to reach a place to be able to give back to those that have helped them get to where they are. We must not forget how America was created. On the backs of an enslaved race to modern day hard working Americans. Enriched by our vast diversity, America has become the forefront of democracy. And yet, America forgot how to read a history book.
So, as an immigrant, I ask you: what side of history do you want to be on when your friends are rounded up and put in concentration camps becuase they speak Spanish?
As a veteran, I ask you: what side of history do you want to be on when the commander in chief tells you to commit ethnic cleansing? Are you going to risk everything to stand up for what is right?
As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, married to my amazing wife, I ask you: what side of history do you want to be on when your friends start dying from AIDS becuase they cannot have access to life saving medication?
As a woman, I ask you: what side of history do you want to be on while your sisters, daughters, mothers, and grandmothers are dying because they cannot have access to vital, life saving, reproductive healthcare such as an abortion?
As a white business owner, it is my responsibility to use that privilege that I have to fight for those who cannot. I will not be silent and I will use my platform to speak out. We cannot let hate win. America’s diversity, rich culture, vast history, and undying commitment to “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” and “justice for all” is what has always made America “great”.
If you have the power and ability to, you need to speak up and fight for the freedoms of those who cannot. It is our responsibility. I do not care if this makes you not support my business, good riddance. I do not give one single solitary f**k if this offends you. Please leave. I will not do business with you. You do not scare me.
