Step off the 7 train and into a world rich with history and global connection! Today, we’re diving deep into Flushing, Queens—a borough often celebrated for its incredible diversity and vibrant community.
But did you know Flushing holds a truly unique place in NYC’s story? It’s home to the iconic Unisphere, a breathtaking symbol of global unity and the enduring legacy of the 1964-65 New York World’s Fair! This colossal stainless steel globe isn’t just a landmark; it represents a moment when the world gathered in Queens to envision a brighter future.

A few fun facts about our metallic marvel:
* It stands 140 feet tall and weighs a whopping 900,000 pounds!
