PC World announced
🚨 BEWARE: New Android Malware Drains Your Bank Account… Then Locks Your Phone for Ransom.Security researchers have identified an aggressive evolution in mobile cybercrime: dual-threat malware that hits your phone with a calculated, automated 1-2 punch. Here is how the attack works:

1️⃣ Silent Infiltration: The malware bypasses basic app filters disguised as a routine utility or update. Once opened, it tricks Android’s Accessibility permissions to operate behind the scenes2️⃣ Autonomous Bank Draining: Acting like a "ghost user," it logs keystrokes, steals 2FA SMS verification codes, and empties checking and crypto balances in real time.
3️⃣ The Ransomware Exit: The moment transactions hit their limits, it triggers a ransomware payload—encrypting personal photos, files, and operating systems. Victims are locked out of their own devices, unable to even call their bank’s emergency fraud desk. Why standard phone protections miss it:Built-in app scans check for known, static files. These new strains download their weaponized code after installation and abuse legitimate system permissions to navigate banking interfaces. By the time your device warns you, the money is already gone.

🛡️ How CyberOne Mobile Stops This:You cannot clean up an attack like this after the fact. CyberOne Mobile provides enterprise-grade, on-device behavioral defense. Our engine operates at the device connection layer, actively inspecting and severing unauthorized data tunnels, blocking rogue accessibility hijacks, and intercepting malicious command-and-control servers before a payload can execute or lock your screen.

🚨 Alert: New "RatHat" malware uses AI to steal bank logins—even if you delete the app.

Security researchers have uncovered a new, aggressive Android threat called RatHat that completely rewrites how mobile banking theft works.

Unlike traditional scams that rely on simple trickery, RatHat uses Generative AI directly on your device to:

📱 Reconstruct your PIN and passwords: It tracks the exact coordinates of where your fingers tap the screen to map your unlock codes.

🏦 Hijack banking & payment apps: It creates deceptive fake overlay screens over your financial apps to capture logins and intercept two-factor codes in real time.

🔄 Reinstall itself automatically: Even if you spot the rogue app and delete it, a hidden background service quietly reinstalls it without your knowledge.

How it infects phones: It arrives via fake text messages (smishing) or deceptive ad links disguised as system updates, streaming apps, or web browsers.

What you should do today:

Never tap links inside unexpected texts claiming your account or browser needs an "urgent update."

Never download apps from web links outside official stores.

For best protection you need the Cyber One Mobile app, which prevent malwares like RatHat.

PCWorld just warned that hackers may quietly be inside your PayPal account right now without you knowing.

They don't drain funds immediately—they steal login details, add their own device as "trusted," and wait.

How does it happen? Unsecured public Wi-Fi and realistic fake SMS links intercepting your data.

Changing your password helps, but stopping the interception first is why you need CyberOne Mobile.

• Blocks rogue Wi-Fi snooping

• Stops malicious phishing links instantly

• 100% private: Zero tracking or personal data scanning

Institutional mobile defense for iOS & Android.

Your phone doesn't recognize routers—it only recognizes names.

If you’ve ever connected to a network called "Hotel_Guest," "Coffee_Free_WiFi," or "Airport_Public," your phone silently broadcasts that name everywhere you go, looking to reconnect automatically.

Here’s the exploit attackers use (and why it works):

🔹 The Spoof: A malicious actor sets up a pocket hotspot broadcasting that exact same network name.

🔹 The Handshake: Your phone connects in the background without prompting you for permission.

🔹 The Intercept: Unencrypted traffic, credentials, and app requests route straight through their rogue device before reaching the internet.

2 Steps to Protect Your Device Today:

Go to Settings > Wi-Fi > Turn off "Auto-Join Networks" or "Ask to Join."

Regularly "Forget" generic public networks you no longer use.

For continuous, real-time protection, on-device mobile defense verifies digital certificates before a single byte of data leaves your phone.

👉 Follow for straightforward mobile privacy & device defense.

id you know your iPhone can automatically call 911 if you're in a severe car crash—even if you're unconscious?

Built into iPhone 14 and newer (plus Apple Watch Series 8+), Crash Detection uses dual-core accelerometers, gyroscopes, and barometers to detect severe impacts, rollovers, and sudden pressure changes.

While it's enabled by default, 3 critical settings must be configured for it to work properly:

1️⃣ Verify Crash Detection Is Active:
Go to Settings ➔ Emergency SOS and make sure "Call After Severe Crash" is toggled ON.

2️⃣ Set Up Your Medical ID & Emergency Contacts:
Open the Health app ➔ tap your Profile icon ➔ Medical ID. Add your emergency contacts, blood type, and allergies. Toggle ON "Show When Locked" so paramedics can view life-saving details without your passcode.

3️⃣ Enable Emergency Location Sharing:
Go to Settings ➔ Privacy & Security ➔ Location Services ➔ System Services and confirm "Emergency Calls & SOS" is turned ON so dispatchers receive your exact GPS coordinates automatically.

If you are outside cellular coverage, newer iPhones will automatically route emergency distress messages via satellite.
