earned that great talent in the IT industry not only want to do great work but also want to lead a balanced life – we make this happen in our Dreams Program, which is the pillar of our culture. The Dreams Program is our way of helping our people understand what they really want in life and supporting them in achieving those goals. It still feels like a dream when we think back to 1995 where it all began still at university, selling computers and engineering calculators to our fellow students and anyone else who would buy them. Over the past 5 years we’ve enjoyed a 36% compounded annual growth rate and we are proud to count some of South Africa’s greatest companies as our clients. We have laid out an audacious plan for 2020 that includes significant growth whilst at the same time protecting our culture which we believe is our greatest competitive advantage. The two focus areas driving this growth are Managed Services and Solutions Architecture and we have been recognized for our excellence by both by our clients and international awards that we are very proud of. We have offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, New York City, Denver, Vietnam and Mauritius.

Jan brings extensive global experience in data, analytics, automation, and AI, helping organisations translate strategy into measurable commercial outcomes. With a Ph.D. in AI and an Executive MBA, he will focus on scaling Innovate — enabling clients to move from ideas to implemented value through a repeatable innovation cadence.

Here’s what Jan shared about her Netsurit journey so far:

"The best part about working at Netsurit so far has been the people, the talent is real, and there’s a genuine hunger to deliver value that clients can feel. It’s not 'slideware' culture. The team leans into problems, takes ownership, and pushes to get to outcomes, whether that’s unblocking a client, improving delivery, or finding a smarter way to do the work.

What I’ve also enjoyed is how collaborative it is. You can pull the right people into a conversation quickly, get honest input, and move from idea to action without layers of friction. That pace, combined with a strong service mindset, makes it a great environment to build in.

And if I’m being cheeky, the opportunity is huge because there’s still plenty of efficiency to create in how we do things. That’s the fun part. We can tighten the playbooks, automate the repeatable bits, standardise what should be standard, and scale the impact without scaling the effort in the same way."
