We continue to be impressed with Starbucks and their forward thinking inclusive business practices.

"Fantastic campaign launching today by our friends at Starbucks. This is right in line with LinkedIn's message - let's get past stereotypes, let's ask better questions, and let's get to know our veterans." —Daniel Savage

CityMouse Digital Marketing Agency receives the 2017 TITLE IV ADA Sapolin Telecommunication Award from Mayor Bill de Blasio for their work in making the web more accessible for persons with disabilities.

July 26, 2017
NEW YORK–– CityMouse, Inc. was honored by Mayor de Blasio and Disabilities Commissioner, Victor Calise with the Sapolin Telecommunications award during a packed reception held at Gracie Mansion on the 27th anniversary of the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The ADA Sapolin Award is named after the Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities Commissioner Matthew Sapolin who passed away in 2011.
Signed in 1990, the Americans with Disabilities Act has fostered independence, empowerment and inclusion for millions of Americans living with disabilities. To honor and celebrate the passage of the ADA, each year the City of New York presents four awards in recognition of individuals who have made significant contributions to increasing accessibility for people with disabilities under the Titles of the American with Disabilities Act, known as the ADA Awards.

The ceremony was part of a larger effort by the de Blasio Administration to recognize and support New Yorkers with disabilities. In July 2016, Mayor de Blasio and the Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities released AccessibleNYC, the City’s first annual report on the state of people with disabilities. The interagency report outlined current and forward-looking efforts to improve accessibility and inclusion in transportation, education, employment and health, as well as City services, institutions and resources.

The second edition notably highlights the City’s launch of NYC: AT WORK – a public-private partnership to bring more well-paid, career-track jobs to New Yorkers with disabilities – and the release of the second edition of the Inclusive Design Guidelines – an update to the 2010 manual to help architects construct disability-friendly City spaces.

CityMouse, Inc. was founded in 1996 as one of New York’s first independent Internet media agencies, and is a full-service digital agency offering innovative Web design, app development, and consulting services. Incorporating state-of-the-art Cognitive Design principles and best practices, CityMouse creates inclusive and responsive websites and apps that work on all devices for people of all abilities.
