If you've updated to iOS9, your Notes won't sync on Mac OS X devices until you've updated to El Capitan, 10.11. Which comes with its own headaches, including lost mail if you are using POP. You can recover it, but it's a hassle.

Had to demote to Standalone and then promote to OD Master, because-
$ sudo db_recover -h /var/db/openldap/authdata/
couldn't fix it after the client caused their server box to s**t the bed after an OS server upgrade, without archiving Open Directory prior.

Don't even THINK of asking Time Warner to put their UBEE Cable Modem into NAT MODE and attach an internal router in Bridged Mode. The UBEE will p**p its pants and run home to mama. And this the only modem they offer business customers in NYC. Business class my ass!
