“We need to remember across generations that there is as much to learn as there is to teach.” — Gloria Steinem

The words feel especially poignant today as we reflect on the extraordinary life and legacy of Gloria Steinem and the generations of women and girls she inspired.

We’re looking back at a piece of creative work we created for the Ms. Foundation for Women, rooted in a message that feels just as powerful today: the girl force of today is the workforce of tomorrow.

From the bold, colorful art direction to the playful typography and empowering copy, the campaign was designed to make a statement: when we invest in girls today, we change the way the world works tomorrow.

A legacy worth learning from. A message worth passing on. And a reminder that the work continues.

Today we celebrate more than our nation’s independence—we celebrate the people who continue to shape it.

America has always been at its best when it welcomes dreamers, makers, creators, entrepreneurs, and families from every corner of the world. Every culture, every story, every voice adds another thread to the fabric of this remarkable country.

Not just red, white, and blue—but every shade that makes America, America.

Here’s to resilience. To optimism. To opportunity. And to the beautiful diversity that has always been our greatest strength.

From all of us at Traffic Creative Management, Happy Independence Day. ❤️🤍💙

TRAFFIC was invented 31 years ago during a hot sultry summer in East Hampton, on a lawn chair, with me trying to figure out what to do with the rest of my life. With this tiny seed of an idea, my unemployment check, and a laptop gifted by my boyfriend (who I married and am still with today!❤️) this creative agency started. We began by representing the different components of an advertising agency, like Creative Directors, Art Directors, Designers,Copywriters and more. Our idea was to curate creative teams for our clients based on their specific needs. While also cutting down the cost of work with a Big agency. This concept materialized quickly into an exciting business. And thanks to the many people who believed in me and my work! A special shout out to Christina Treyfors the Photography agent who gave me free office space in Soho until I was fully operational. The agency grew and began also representing some really awesome illustrators, photographers, videographers, animators. Anything you needed we could supply. If we didn't have them in our purview, we'd find them for you. We love working with clients who we have long relationships with-it feels like family. We're knee-deep in digital media marketing, which is so interesting and so much fun and meanwhile, our love for Fine Art has come to the forefront. We are building careers of some really interesting artists, we have our feet firmly planted in the artworld doing all kinds of wonderful projects, including curating pop-up exhibitions and collaborating with galleries around the world. Life is good so long we can keep on being creative! ---Michelle Edelman

Artist Perryn Ryan partnered with Salon Centric—a leading professional beauty distributor dedicated to empowering stylists through education, community, and access to top-tier brands—to create a custom illustration for their Texture in Flow booth, brought to life as an immersive, photo-ready experience.

Inspired by the artwork’s fluid lines, bold color blocking, and layered textures, the booth surrounds guests in a living composition—where sculptural cutouts, flowing shapes, and graphic patterns echo the movement and versatility of textured hair. It’s not just a backdrop, but a space that invites interaction, reflection, and celebration of texture in motion.

Now in its third year, Texture On Set is the first pro event fully dedicated to textured hair education in fashion and beauty. Founded by Naeemah LaFond, it brings together top artists, brands, and creatives to redefine on-set standards through culture, storytelling, and elevated artistry—it doesn’t follow the industry, it shifts it.

Astrology meets artistry in the work of Perryn Ryan, where each zodiac sign becomes more than a symbol—it becomes a story, a mood, a visual language.

What makes interpretation so compelling is how each sign is felt as much as it is seen. The artwork doesn’t just represent astrology—it translates personality, energy, and emotion into something tangible.
