Phil Crumm, Managing Partner of our Content Solutions Practice, is heading to Boston for Webflow Conf.

During Partner Day, he’ll join Paul Grey from Webflow and Jonathan Petrino from ActiveCampaign for a conversation about the evolving relationship between agencies and technology partners, how AI is blurring the lines between the two, and what that means for continuing to deliver value for clients.

The official WordPress AI plugin is moving quickly, with our team continuing to lead much of its engineering and product development.

Recent releases add practical tools for content teams:
📝 Editorial and SEO suggestions delivered as Notes
✍️ Experimental type-ahead suggestions while writing
🌎 Translation for supported content
🔎 Search-friendly slug suggestions
💬 Draft replies for comment moderation

They also introduce stronger safeguards, including encrypted credentials, administrator approval for plugins that use AI connections, and explicit permission before AI can access site content, settings, or user information.

Thank you to all Fueled team members who dedicate time to the official WordPress AI plugin: Jeffrey B. Paul, Darin Kotter, James Morrison, Lauren Woodmansee, Rachael Cortellessa, Lina Wiezkowiak, Fabian Kägy, Tyler Bailey, Dharmesh Patel, and Ankit K Gupta.

Fueled helped shape WordPress 7.1 while leading development of its official AI plugin, with new tools for publishing, collaboration, and AI.

In discussing his approach to tightly integrating applied AI inside of WordPress, Darin Kotter discusses a very Fueled-like principle that has guided both ClassifAI and the official WordPress AI plugin: focus on solving real and common publishing and business needs, not just novel showcases that might look impressive but never get real use or adoption.

That mindset is especially important as agentic AI creates new opportunities to automate and assist content, publishing, and site management workflows.

WordPress 7.1 is here. 🙌

For content, design, and product teams, the release brings meaningful improvements to everyday WordPress workflows, including easier styling for different screen sizes, better Notes with , and faster media editing and management.

It also arrives alongside new features in the official WordPress AI plugin, where our team continues to lead engineering and product development.

Nine Fueled team members contributed to WordPress 7.1, including Mukesh Panchal and Peter Wilson, who were recognized as Noteworthy Contributors. Check out the full contributor list in the comments.

We’re proud to keep contributing to the open source platform our clients depend on and helping shape where it goes next.

Our Agentic Post-Launch Support pilot helps clients keep web and mobile products stable, secure, and improving while reducing the time and budget absorbed by routine maintenance.

Continuous monitoring, recommended triage, AI-drafted fixes, and human review work together inside one maintenance workflow. Fueled product and engineering leads spend their time ensuring quality and mitigating risk, not pouring over code and clicking through screens trying to unpack every bug report.

More time and budget spent on meaningful product improvements, less time chasing every last issue report.

AI-native maintenance model that uses monitoring, triage, AI-drafted fixes, and human review to support digital products after launch.

Through our work with media and publishing companies, we saw firsthand how beehiiv's newsletter platform was helping clients strengthen direct audience relationships and create new opportunities to monetize content.

We’d also seen the integration tax that can come with adding a new platform to an established publishing operation.

That sparked a conversation with our friends at beehiiv: let's make it much easier and less disruptive for more WordPress-powered media and publishing companies to tap into what beehiiv brings to the table. ⚡

Together, we shipped an official WordPress plugin that reduces friction across setup and the everyday editorial workflows that turn site content into newsletters.

See what Viktor Tretyak had to say about how the plugin makes beehiiv faster and easier for WordPress publishers to adopt, and read our case study for a closer look at how it was designed, built, and launched.

AI-native delivery is most valuable when it helps experienced teams move faster without loosening control.

For Ayala Land, Fueled used AI-native workflows to accelerate discovery, rapidly iterate on wireframes, share approved improvements across related sites, and tackle complex refactoring and performance challenges.

The important part is not that AI replaced the work. It changed the pace of the work.

Our team still made the product, architecture, and quality decisions. AI-native workflows helped us move faster through discovery, refactoring, performance analysis, and repetitive implementation while keeping experienced practitioners in control.

We built Ayala Land a Sanity and Next.js platform for residential and hospitality brands, multilingual content, booking paths, and growth.
