Studio Lin designed the fully illustrated catalogue for Martin Wong: Chinatown USA, the first U.S. monographic museum exhibition of Martin Wong since 2017. Spanning several decades of work, the book presents Wong’s plates roughly chronologically, with essays discussing each decade of his practice. A to-scale visual index gives readers a direct sense of the physical range of the work, while PMS yellow Magno Gloss sections — including multiple foldouts — contain supporting illustrations and contextual visual material. The book is constructed as a Smyth-sewn exposed book block with a folded poster jacket, extending the interior material language to the exterior.
