How I started my business (Founder and CEO)

Something that looks easy to do, like Two-time Olympic medallist Yuna Kim's figure skating performance, is really hard to do. Here's the story of why I started a statistical analysis software business. When I started to teach statistical analysis at Rutgers University in 2009, I used IBM SPSS . It sucked. The user interface looked like something out of the 1980s. The menus designed for statistical professionals were too difficult to learn. It was so heavy to install on computers so that it took over an hour for students in the class to download. I wish it was a cloud service like Dropbox, so I could easily use it in a web browser. Wouldn't it be great if the software could automatically run the right statistical models and interpret them in plain English? It would be nice to see the statistical analysis results in color instead of just two asterisks (**). These ideas led me to develop a statistical analysis website. Now, more than a decade later, that dream becomes my business, and those ideas have come to life on iOS, Android, and web browsers.

2022년 미국 고객만족도 1위 공항으로 샌프란시스코 공항이 선정되었습니다. 샌프란시스코 공항은 매년 대규모 고객 설문을 실시하고 이 데이터를 공개하고 있습니다. 2018년에 공개된 설문 데이터를 바탕으로 선형회귀 분석을 통해 어떻게 고객 만족도 분석을 클릭만으로 손쉽게 할 수 있는 지 설명하였습니다. 결론부터 말하자면 고객 만족도에 영향을 주는 여러 요소 중 공항 청결도가 가장 중요했고, 음식, 상점, 안전 순이었습니다. 화장실 만족도, 성별은 상관관계가 없었습니다. 소득도 별 상관이 없었고 5만불 이하 소득의 응답자들만 다른 그룹보다 만족도가 더 높았습니다.
