For 44 years, Moodies record store wasn’t just a shop it was the heartbeat of the Caribbean in the Bronx. A place where music met memory, and generations found rhythm, roots, and community.

Now, we honor his name the way he honored the culture loud, proud, and forever.

Join us as we officially rename the corner of 225th Street & White Plains Road where it all began to celebrate the life and legacy of a man who gave the Bronx its sound.
