Best explanation of what we actually do that I’ve heard in a while:
“We’re like the back end of the 911 system. The 911 people bring them into the ER, and it’s our job to free those beds up.”

Question for the discharge-heavy operators here.

Carolynn Belke of California Accessible Transportation runs about 60% hospital discharges. To cover it she leaves drivers completely blank on the schedule, stages them at hospitals, and pays them to sit there with nothing booked.

How often does it not pay off? She says zero. Even at the four hour mark when you are ready to send them home, the phone rings.

Worried an AI dashcam will nag your drivers all day? Here’s what it actually flags.
Cho Ndiforchu at Skyline Transport has run 70 in a 65 and been fine. He figures there’s about a five mile buffer, though that’s just his read from driving them.

Phones are different. Two seconds of looking down and it yells at you. Seatbelts too if you go a few minutes without one.

It stays quiet until something matters. That’s why nobody tunes it out.

Flyers, dozens of cookies, walk into every nursing home and hospital in your area, say hi, we’re here, we want to help. Do it enough times that they know your name.
Plus a Google business page and reviews on it.

When a facility questions a trip, Kunu Kaushal at SST Mobility pulls the whole video and walks them through it. What he’s protecting isn’t the insurance premium, it’s the contract, and he puts that at hundreds of thousands to millions in value.

Worth thinking about before your next facility pitch.

Kunu Kaushal at SST Mobility says the hidden costs, rolling stops, seatbelts, workers’ comp claims where the driver wasn’t using the equipment, will cost you way more than 5% off insurance would save you.

And his read on where this goes: dashcams become a requirement, not a discount. He’s won facility contracts because they were technologically savvy.
