IEH's Hyperboloid stacking connectors in our HMM series were specified by NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory for the heralded NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration Psyche Spacecraft.

Our connectors are used in the power electronics that fuel all instruments of the spacecraft via the solar panels: https://go.nasa.gov/3vl1tcK And IEH was selected for our expertise in providing high-density connectors with low-insertion force, addressing concerns related to fretting and corrosion.

The Psyche Spacecraft is traveling to an unexplored metal-rich asteroid, which is orbiting the Sun between Mars and Jupiter. By August 2029, the spacecraft will begin exploring the asteroid, which scientists believe may be a building block of an early planet.

Although this is in the distant future, the Psyche Spacecraft has been making recent strides by successfully firing in a deep-space test (10 million miles away). According to this article, such "fast communications could speed up science on the asteroid mission": https://bit.ly/47oJv6c

➑️ Our HKC Series of Compact PCI Connectors were chosen for the onboard computers of a Korean Satellite Company, which creates key parts of satellite equipment and supplies them to government agencies.

➑️ Our HKX Connectors were designated for the power, memory, and video boards on the antenna systems for a Canadian commercial satellite company as part of the NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration Lunar Gateway Program.

➑️ Our HMM and HMK Connector Series were selected for the avionics and docking mechanisms on NASA’s Orion Spacecraft for Artemis I.

➑️ Our HMK Series was specified for its 200-pin Connectors, designed on an electrical display unit for the crew audio subsystem on The Habitation and Logistics Outpost (HALO).

➑️ Our HRM Stacking Connectors were used for the primary imager (NIRCam) on NASA's James Webb Space Telescope.
