Before you spend money on a phone repair, let’s make sure you’re choosing the option that’s right for you.

One of the first questions I’ll ask is:

Do you have AppleCare+, carrier insurance, or another protection plan?

If you do, I usually recommend checking with them first. In many cases, your deductible may be less than paying out of pocket for a repair using genuine Apple parts.

If you want a genuine Apple display, I can absolutely source one. However, genuine parts are typically much more expensive than quality aftermarket options, and labor is added on top of the part cost. Depending on your insurance coverage, using your protection plan may save you a significant amount of money.

If insurance isn’t an option, don’t worry—you still have choices.

There are several grades of aftermarket screens available. They aren’t all the same. Some are budget-friendly, while others offer performance much closer to the original display. My goal is to explain the differences honestly so you can decide what makes the most sense for your budget and how you use your phone.

I’m not here to sell you the most expensive repair.

I’m here to help you make the most informed decision.

Not all back glass repairs are performed the same way.

Many repair shops remove broken back glass using heat guns, pry tools, blades, and grinding methods. While those methods can work, they often require significantly more physical force around sensitive internal components.

Phone slipped out of your hand, it has landed face first onto the tile floor, you flip it back over and see your screen is broken top to bottom. It’s lighting up along the cracks looks like green and black. It won’t respond to your touch!

Hey everyone!

A couple of months ago, I shared that we were 🌊 flooded out by Hurricane Helene. Things haven’t exactly been easy since then, but we’re pushing forward with what we have.

As most of you know, I run a 📱 mobile phone screen repair business. I decided to take a chance and invest in a small 🚐 enclosed trailer, turning it into a little mobile shop. I’m not a professional builder, but it does the job, and I’m proud of how it’s coming together.

The best part? I can now repair iPhone back glass 🔧 without having to do it in the car!

There are still some upgrades and changes I plan to make, but for now, I’m excited to keep things rolling and offer even better service.
