Discovered this old photo today and it instantly brought back golden memories of the day my grandparents took me to Weeki Wachee Springs to see the underwater mermaid show. 🧜‍♀️✨

I told my grandma, “I want to be a mermaid,” and instead of laughing, she went straight to her sewing machine and MADE ME A MERMAID TAIL. I wore that thing so much it literally fell apart and she had to make me another one.

Here’s little me perched beside the backyard pool where I grew up, fully posing like Ariel and living my best mermaid life. Honestly… this photo explains a lot. 😂

Taking my lil Grogu out to the movie theater to see his new big blockbuster hit The Mandalorian & Grogu 🍿✨ He’s very excited to finally see himself on the big screen after years of being a Hollywood star living exclusively on my couch. 🌌👽 Honestly, fame hasn’t changed him at all… still demands snacks every 15 minutes and refuses to pay rent.

Such a surreal full-circle moment today at the National WWII Museum. ❤️

A few years ago, I had the opportunity to create and produce the promotional commercial for the *Clue: WWII Spies & Espionage* game — a project that combined storytelling, history, strategy, and immersive design in such a unique way.

Today, while visiting the museum with my parents, we walked into the lobby and saw the commercial playing on the giant screen for museum guests. Seeing something I created being showcased inside one of the most respected museums in the country was honestly emotional.

Projects like this are so much more than design work to me. They’re about helping bring history to life in ways that engage new generations and create deeper connections to the stories being preserved.

Grateful to the National WWII Museum for continuing to trust me with creative projects that educate, inspire, and honor history in meaningful ways. And getting to experience this moment with my mom and dad beside me made it even more special. ❤️

Today was one of those days that stays with you. ❤️

I spent the day at the National WWII Museum with my mom and dad, walking through the exhibits, listening to the stories, and taking in the incredible weight of history preserved there.

What made it especially emotional for me is that I recently wrapped up a major video history project for the museum. Spending so much time immersed in these stories — hearing firsthand accounts, researching the sacrifices, courage, resilience, and humanity behind WWII — has deeply impacted me in ways I didn’t expect.

Walking through the museum today, surrounded by the aircraft, artifacts, and personal stories, it really hit me how important this work is. These aren’t just exhibits or projects… they’re memories, legacies, and lessons being passed down to future generations.

As a creative, being trusted to help tell even a small part of that story is something I’ll never take lightly. It’s an honor to contribute to preserving history in a way that keeps it alive and meaningful for younger generations to connect with.

Very grateful for this day, this project, and this time with my parents. ❤️

Such a special day getting to visit the National WWII Museum with my parents today — and even more meaningful seeing some of my own designs featured throughout the museum gift shops. ❤️🇺🇸

I had the honor of creating the WWII Clue: Spies & Espionage game along with the Rosie the Riveter-inspired lunchboxes, and it never gets old seeing these pieces out in the wild being enjoyed by visitors from around the world.

As a designer, projects like these are incredibly rewarding because they blend storytelling, history, and interactive design in a way that helps keep these important stories alive for future generations.

Huge thanks to the National WWII Museum for continuing to trust me with creative projects that celebrate and honor this history. If you’re in New Orleans, definitely make time to visit — the museum is truly world-class.
