Another Prius Saved! This 2012 suffered from a head gasket failure and unknowingly ran out of coolant, when we picked it up it had just over 259k miles on it.
Unfortunately due to the poor engine performance related to the head gasket failure, when the engine ceased to run, the battery was subsequently depleted. The car then sat for 2 years before I got the call to save the day.
Due to the battery being depleted and having sat for 2 years, the car also needed a hybrid battery.
We replaced the engine with a newer updated 71,000 mile motor and the hybrid battery with a 12 month warranty for thousands less than it would have costed to replace the car with an equivalent 200k mile vehicle.
